Ottm. The pm has spent the last 90mins playing 80s Rawk/Rawk ballads while the child chills, playing Roblox. I know a surprising number of lyrics to these despite not being genres of choice. The ever pervasive radio 1 i'd imagine.
Ah. Oh. I don't want to ruin your evening (too late), but a while ago I came across one of Keza's tweets...
... and I watched the video and immediately forwarded it to the grandchildren's parents who assured me that Roblox wasn't a thing (yet) among the kids and their peers and that they will look out and warn other parents if that changes. Financial exploitation of children is one thing, but what's really bad is the lack of internet safety. The warning at the beginning of the video that it contains explicit messages to a minor is very necessary and at the same time hardly does it justice. This stuff is so bad that it needs to be seen to be believed.
Sorry for bringing this up, but we have many parents of young children here and Keza is right about not letting your kids play Roblox. Difficult if they are already into it.
Wait, what's the problem with Roblox? I didn't think it was any worse than Fortnite, Minecraft etc... for kids?
I think, according a parent of one of the kids my younglings interact with, it is, allegedly, a nonce hotspot. Our kids played it, but thankfully no longer.
