Shenguin would like to wish all his friends on Chatterbox a very Happy Easter.
Edit: April Fools. You're all weirdos, and I don't care what sort of Easter you have, you chocolate-munching dribble brains.

I stayed in bed all day yesterday then got up to watch Deadpool. Liturgically textbook Easter so far.

I had to get up early this morning to get to the shops to replace my kids easter eggs that I ate last night. Stupid Jeebus

Happy Easter! May all your chocolate bunnies come true. Or something.
Cupcake decorated with icing and mini choclate eggs for breakfast. The healthy option.

Yesterday's theological discussion on the topic of Easter with 4-year old granddaughter (Jesus died on Friday, but by Sunday he got better) yielded the information that she had recreated the garden of Gethsemane, featuring flowers, chocolate bunnies, a hot cross bun and a Yorkshire pudding. None of us were sure about the meaning of the latter. Is it supposed to represent God's Own Country? Wasn't Jesus's uncle from Doncaster? A translation error in the gospels?

Morning all.
I returned home last night more curry than man. I expected to be more alcohol than man, so am feeling very full and very confused this morning.
This morning I have already been for a walk on the tye, followed by a play down on the beach. Sat on the pebbles, drinking coffee from a thermos and eating a hot cross bun. It's what Jesus would have wanted.

Carrying a childs bike round a park while a bit unwell. I know how Jesus felt carrying that cross.
I'm possibly Spartacus!
Off for lunch shortly.

Yesterday's theological discussion on the topic of Easter with 4-year old granddaughter We're struggling a bit with the "listen to your teacher they do know lots. Oh - don't listen to that part it's made up" It's a delicate subject as her parents, having suddenly rediscovered their faith at the sight of the Ofsted report, are trying to get her into the local Catholic primary school. So far she's taking it all in her stride and her grandfather is under strict instructions to bite his tongue until a place has been secured.

Beans on toast for lunch.
Poppy seed bread toast.
It has left me wondering how I got to this point in my life.

I have been playing Streets of Rage 2 with the misses. The opening track to the game is “Go Straight” and it’s such a quintessential Acid House/early rave tune that you feel like you have heard it a hundred times before, check it out if you can as it’s excellent.

It's caking it down here. Bank holiday Monday, natch.
Very busy day yesterday, but did get to catch up with most of the family. Also meant boy slept very well indeed.
Looks like I'm heading to the vets again, other day this time. Pets are pricey.

Morning all. Especially Chris. I'm frankly shocked that it's acceptable for a church to be publicly sleep-shaming some poor bloke who just likes a long lie in over the Easter weekend.

I have decided to get fit, maybe run a marathon in a year. Did a mighty 1.5k on the running machine this morning and didn't quite die. It's a start.

I have decided to get fit, maybe run a marathon in a year. Even for a feeble gaming nerd that's a pretty shit time.
