Getting fit eh?
Usually folk "getting fit" on Easter Monday have been hard at it since Thursday night on the Jack'n'Jills.
Toad in the hole for dinner. Making normal gravy and not onion gravy as the child a bit funny about onions. Not the best but will make do.

Wait, wait, wait, I'd like to whinge about life, too! Today I suddenly developed a sore foot, feeling as if I'd spent the last days wearing high heels when I hadn't. Had to lie down and wait for two hours for a large dose of Ibuprofen to kick in and take the edge off.
It's mainly gone now, but I feel that it will take me even longer to run the marathon than Babyfark, and while I'm at it I also wish to whinge about the weather. Otherwise I'm busy in the kitchen whilst listening to DreamcastGuy reviewing every Dreamcast game ever made in alphabetical order for his April Fools Day contribution. It's nearly 2 hours long and we've only just reached K. Is there an actual joke in there? I don't think so, but it's strangely mesmerising.

Yesterday my football team beat a rival team at their ground for the first time in approximately 280 years. Therefore I get to feel smug based on the actions of a bunch of people I've never met and have absolutely nothing in common with.
Babyfark - don't do it. Running is a mugs game. I've just spent 40 minutes running, following by another 30 minutes trying not to spin out.

We're ok to feel smug, this is by far the best football I've seen spurs play in my lifetime. Possibly the best I will ever see. I'm going to be smug as hell. Plus eriksen's stunner and Dele's first? Woof. I loved the celebration too. Rub Chelsea's nose in it all you can. |

Only time I played a Dreamcast was when we hired one from the video shop. 4 students chipping in to have it all weekend. Some fighting game.
It had a wee cage round it so you couldn't sell it on. Or possibly change the game.

Crazy Taxi and Powerstone are the only games I ever actually played on the Dreamcast. Someone would bring theirs into the uni computing lab which put paid to studying or proper work.
Getting burnt with the Sega Saturn made me adverse to forking out for it.

I bought one off ebay after they had become obsolete and just played a handful of the most highly rated games. It was a decent console, and the first to incorporate proper Internet connectivity (I think). Bloggie - Yeah that first goal really was something else. It was the first game in a while where I've spent the entire second half pacing round the room. I'm dreading the end of the season when Real Madrid sack Zidane and are after a new manager |

I had managed to get badly sunburnt on the one sunny day in Scotland that year and said he could if he ate my sunburn. Can't remember why. Anyway, I was so badly burned I basically peeled off my whole 'front' and handed it to him. Watching him choke it down and throw it back up in my back garden was worth that dreamcastless week. Ahem, anyway... Top 5 dreamcast games: Jet set radio Sonic adventure Shenmue Shenmue 2 Skies of arcadia Special mention to Phantasy Star Online, which I only picked up on the Gamecube a couple of years later. |
