Hullo. Yes, I'm awake. I had to consult 'The Manual' of the good, if atrociously translated Lord Subaru. I have a technical question for amipal regarding his EV. It goes a little something like this:- If I have a flat battery in my badger-eating monstrosity, I can simply whip it out* and charge it, get a jump start or get a new one from Halfords (via Deliveroo or a cab, I don't know - I haven't thought this bit through). What if I'm in my EV say... in the middle of Dartmoor or Cambodia, and I run out of juice, what then? *Calm down Tuffers . |

An EV has two batteries: the big one under the floor that powers the car, and the standard 12v one under the bonnet. The latter powers the entertainment unit, door locks, interior lighting etc. Are you talking about having no juice in the big battery, rather than a flat 12v? If that’s the case, recovery can pop the car on a flatbed and take you to the nearest charging point. However, some recovery companies actually have diesel-powered chargers that they can hook up to your car, give you a quick blast of power to get you to the point. |

Morning all,
Spent the weekend revisiting an old Cities Skylines 2 save.
Completely rehauled the rail and metro network. Though there are still bugs in how buildings are prioritised in the industry DLC.

Im flying to Copenhagen for work on wednesday, bit anxious something will go wrong with documents or some covid related detail that Ive not done properly.
Then on saturday flying back and Im going to drive to Birmingham, then London for mon,tues,wed. Then back to Edinburgh.
So will be burning a lot of Gretas childhood and petrol over the next week.
Looking forward to it. Mammifere Prefere is coming too so it'll be almost like a holiday except I'll be working all day.
