...or you could just sidle up to your new colleague and whisper, "I know what you're thinking", then give her 'the look'. See my avatar for training purposes.

I engaged with the issue. Boom. Chair back.
Also some new cordiality from my new colleague, who can now obviously see I was not singling her out.
Phew.

If it is that much of an issue your manager should get two new office chairs. Very slightly, but noticeably higher spec than the coveted chair., which you will have to keep.
That is how I would deal with it. Divide and conquer.

Morning, Late(ish) home last night. No TV. Bit of a run around in The Division 2. Did a run at the summit. Basically a tower block with waves of baddies coming at you and you have to get to the 100th floor. Stopped at floor 8. Will take a while I think. Mucking about with different builds. Gone for an SMG/rifle combo instead of my usual AR/rifle as it's more close combat. I picked up an exotic LMG so might give that a go. I installed the Uncharted Lost legacy remaster over night. I might need to revisit as I stopped playing. Remember having a very nice shotgun as the enemies became increasingly only encountered up close (especially exploding ones).

Slightly late start today. I am alone in the office, so not an issue. Unless anyone wanted to speak to me. Which they don't.
When I got back, just after 1, I had something to eat and all of a sudden it was well gone 2.am and I was not in the slightest bit tired.
Bournemouth are better than Blues. No doubt in my mind. Also we have a terrible record against them. 3 wins in 22 matches. None at home. Fortunately this was away so we had a chance. A chance we did not take. When you consider that except for the last 10 years they have always been a tiny club (compared to us) with no money and no fans our record against them is pitiful.
So 3-1 loss last night. We had a brief flurry when they had a player sent ff, but apart from that it was pretty straightforward.
Four stars, recommended

Hello everyone.
Getting to the end of the third week of works. My life is turned around and upside down. I live and work out of three rooms. My only companions are my cat, the kettle and the microwave. The upstairs has taken on a distinctive whiff of microwave-meals, which no end of open-windows seems to shift. #pray4amipal
Covidblog: the boy spent Saturday being floppy, but is full of beans now. Still testing positive though. Partner now positive, and so is her mum. The latter is 71 and triple-jabbed, so hopefully she’ll be okay.
TVblog: Community. Like putting on an old pair of comfy shoes.
Filmblog: V for Vendetta. Hadn’t seen it before. 4*

Astonishing! Just had a Bezos notification and the tracking information shows "Estimated arrival 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM", allowing just 10m to get from Luton to here... Google maps shows that as 42m fastest journey. No wonder they are always stressed! No. Jeffster, it's not Anyone else flick between tabs manically refreshing the tracking information so you can be waiting at the door as it's flung at you?

Hi
Watched the footerballs on telly last night. Stevie G's Villains versus Bucket man's Leeds. ALL the kick goals were hoofed into the onion bags.
No games.
OTTM, Microwave chat. Picked one out (a Panasonic) and specifically one from the Currys about a mile away so I could collect it, rather than let the delivery lads do a drive-by and throw it on the front drive, in the rain. Anyway I now know that "collect in store today" actually means "we'll deliver it to the store from our warehouse next week". So to stick it to the man I deleted it from my basket. Hurrah! Erm, oh. Balls.

Morning all
I got nothing. Played a bit of Crusader Kings 3 for the first time in a while yesterday. Still incomprehensible gibberish, but I did manage to assassinate a couple of my rivals, so I’ve got that going for me which is nice.
Also had a quick blast on Far Cry 6, which looks beautiful. Same old game, but I’m not complaining. I now have a pet alligator.

ShenguinI'll fight you. I am in the mood. I reckon Scotch Corner is about half way, so meet you there outside Costa in 5 hours? I'll be the 6 foot 5 guy with the vitamin D deficiency and prison tats.

You should fight somewhere between Appleby and Preston. Perhaps at the horse fair. I think it has a tradition of bare-knuckle boxing

Hello. I'm glad to hear that lazybones 's chair saga had a happy ending. Wishing strength to the amipal family. Maybe they need to stop hobnobbing with Prince Charles. Also strength to amipal himself so that he will win the daily fight with the cat over dinner. I'd say 3 rooms to live in is plenty as long as one of the three is a bathroom. Since I have access to a cooker I prepared a pseudo-Greek potato & minced beef bake for dinner last night, topped with feta cheese. The latter contained my weekly salt allowance, so I'm glad that's taken care of. So I was still glugging various beverages when I watched the Nintendo Direct. It gave me deep Weeb FOMO.

Just briefly - The Martian by: Andy Weir; narrated by Wil Wheaton is that very rare thing. A good book made into a fantastic listen. To get through the night I listen to stuff. I normally drift off for an hour or so. This audiobook is now on the banned list because I simply stay totally engaged. 4.9* I haven't seen the film btw
