Oh man. Our train to Scotland has been cancelled because of this storm. Gutting. We've got accommodation booked and everything. A lot of it pre-paid. What can I say? That is just a bastard. Have a hug 🤗 No chance of getting the train part way and a hired car / cab the rest. Mind you, I would check that your accommodation isn't / won't be affected by storm Dennis or Eunice. |

I just drove all the way to the chippy and upon entering was told that they were closed. I asked what time they close, since it said 10pm on the door. Oh sorry, said the young man, we close at 8.30 now. I pointed out it was 8.26 and he just laughed and shrugged in a slightly embarrassed fashion as if the matter were beyond his control. I am Phil Brown angry right now.
