I got 4 out of 6 in today's Wordle but I'm not going to post the picture because I'm trying to unpick the hooks it has in my psyche.
I'm not saying it's bad.

Hi
What is Port Glasgow like?
Could a man like me have a good life there? (proximity to Faslane notwithstanding).

Hullo. I've been out for a spin in ze motor. I've had to park it some way from Tids Towers due to lack of space. It's next to a Church, may God protect it's battery and save it from feckless youths.

I went to a friend’s birthday. I’ve taken drink …. When I walked into one room two people who I knew (but haven’t seen for two years) looked at me for a few moments then seemed to recoil, in an emotion I would not like to place. One of them said I looked like an arctic explorer. Both added they had not recognised me. At the end of the evening one person who I’ve known for ten years introduced herself to me again. I suppose I should have removed my glasses and pulled myself up to my fullest height. I guess I’m sort of glad ... What has happened to me? Time has frosted my hair and weakened my eyes. It has not revealed the secret to melt belly fat and baffle my G.P. Its funny the way the look of recognition often looks like people are recoiling from you. Happens to me all the time.

I've been playing grand turismo. The funny thing is I can't actually drive! There's a cafe with cars on the menu but you can't eat or drink them. Bit odd. The cast of characters is a bit annoying. When it told me to buy a Japanese compact car I bought a Mitsubishi Lancer instead and have been trouncing various olde 60s and compact cars in Sunday cups since. Top banana

Are you selling a flat to enable a move to Scotland? If so you'll be able to get something detached/semi-detached. Somewhere nice. I know folk who have done that.
The Port is a strange one. It is the old town of PG at the river side, with houses built up the hill some lovely houses with an amazing view. But there are three main housing schemes that have been built. There is a distinct sense of community in these schemes and all that goes with that.
Since the closure of the yards and also "new" employers in the town there has been a lot of unemployment. The town centre was decimated but since the opening of the big Tesco and the surrounding shops (Next, m&s etc) there has been a wee bit of revitalisation. The actual town centre Is fast food and betting shops.
Still a lot of alcoholism, drug dependency, poor health. Lots of warm people, tribal religious belief, of course tied to football and associated violence. Bored young men causing trouble.
I have friends & colleagues from PG. Some left, some stay.
It's 25minutes on the train from Glasgow. You can get nicer places to live. But it's cheap.

The kafay at the Dubbs Rd shops might. Otherwise a trip to McDonalds for their coffee. Or Costa drive thru. Organic houmous? Doubtful. amipal Someone at works sister in law sold a flat in that Brighton. Moved back home and bought two flats. One in West end with amazing views over the Clyde and another she rents out. Still no burritos at lunchtime though.
