Morning,
No games, no TV.
Though the pm was watching PBS which I didn't realise was on Freesat.
On a bus as I need to get an earlier train and there wasn't a suitable first train. Currently passing through the people's Republic of Shawlands.
Hopefully get in to town and I can get a coffee, though I forgot my re-usable cup. Sorry Greta.

Turned out to be the neighbours' new pet, which had managed to vault the fence and gain ingress because I'd left the front door open for the cats. If I hadn't just been to the loo I'd have **** myself.

In my defence, I am quite careful not to be attacked by invading dogs while I'm in the WC. Although, in the interests of transparency, I should admit that recently the neighbour's cat wandered into the bathroom whilst I was enthroned. It looked at me with contempt, and sauntered off, showing me its bum-hole without even a hint of embarrassment.
Work: Too much.
Games: Worked until midnight and then played three slightly dispiriting solo games of Fortnite.

My Wordle was a 3 today.
Ring chat:
Managed a few hours last night, am mainly exploring Limgrave.
Got transported to Hell, that was cool, killed a few baddies and did myself proud against a big Dog before retreating back to gentler lands.
Found a few bits and bobs that I dont have the stats to wield.
Went to the round table, got offered to learn spells but was too poor. I'm pretty sure a lady offered to have some intimate contact with me and when I declined she said she 'understood my disdain' so now she thinks I'm really not into the ladies, but it just wasnt the right moment, we cant all be Geralt of Rivia when theres questing to do. I go back and give her a good time later.
Then I remembered about the combat tutorial so went back to do that and learned about the 'guard counter' and the critical hit from behind, which is really really really weird because Ive been sneaking up behind people and stabbing them with that button absolutely loads already but the critical hit hasnt been activating, I suspect the guard counter hasnt either and its only after doing the tutorial that its started to work. 100% the critical hit from behind didnt work before.
So it was worth visiting, trying to get my dexterity up to 16 so I can try a few weapons Ive picked up.
Also I just had 2 potato waffles with sweet chilli sauce cooked in the toaster at work, was tasty.

No booze, early night, feeling rather chipper today. I also ate some sausages with veg and 2 yorkshire puddings. Lovely.
