Friday already,
Last night I had a brief foray into Uncharted 3. I suppose I should get around to finishing the series really.

Mornin' Last night I wandered the Dark Zone, farming DivTech. I tend to just roam around DZ09 and DZ08 which tend to have less Rogues. I managed 150 DivTech in a couple of hours which was a decent return I think. 1.8.1 will see 25 DT per daily challenge and a 100 for the weeklies. Which is nice. @bloggiesmalla thedivisiondarkzone.it/mappa_boss_darkzone/ is an excellent map for DivTech farming.

I really want to laugh at WeeCooper, if it wasn’t for my farming of materials in Monster Hunter.

Morning all,
Last night I got stuck into some Ass Origins. Wholesome.
It's pretty good though yet to gets its claws into me as I'm sure it will. The fighting is much better than the old school. The opening segment sees you ride into town alongside an old buddy. You can use the auto button to keep riding alongside a quest marker (in this case the said 'buddy'). One side effect of this is that you go at a decent pace so there he was, telling me about the brutal repression of the place and how the people are suffering, all whilst galloping through pensioners and children.
I know, I need to work on my delivery.

Level up before going after hippos. They will fuck you up. Yep - had anticipated this, only level 3 so very early on in the game. Skill tree looks interesting, feels more like the tech tree from Empire Total War, which is an odd comparison.

Hello
No games again.
A gaming ennui, if you will, bordering a slough of despond.
I did read/play some of the first book on The Lone Wolf Saga app. I died a few times and was promptly dumped unceremoniously back at the beginning. i may need to buy a bookmark slot -presumably the equivalent of keeping a finger in the previous page so I can go back if things turn out badly.

Lonewolf CYOD? Sheesh, I remember these, also played a lot of the Jackson/Livingstone ones. Island of the Lizard King and one which was Mad Max rip off involving keeping track of how much fuel you were using.
House of Hell ruined me, never beat it and even today the page where you think you've escaped only to be met at the door by a chap with a goat head still irks me.
I haven't slept since the mid 80s is what I'm saying.

Morning all!
Camera club was a shambles last night. Regular competition organisers had swanned off on holiday, leaving Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber in charge. Much "hilarity" ensured.
Also, the booked judge couldn't make it, so we got some LRPS judge in their stead. She wasn't great, focussing (ha! A joke!) on some very odd things and ignoring glaring issues.
I needed to get out of the house yesterday, but at what cost?

Hello,
I am mostly over my man flu. Watching the child today and trying to avoid re-enacting 'the greatest showman' 15 times.
Off to the library shortly for Easter hols colouring/art stuff then Costa for lunch. Games. GTA. Made a fair wack of money but bored with the business grind. Need to get my pal to start doing the heists with me.

Amipal,
you should check out the pics on 'The Multi Award Winning Bedford Tavern' fb group. 'Er indoors took the ones I uploaded including the first one you'll see with the two drag queens at the finishing line. Not camera club quality but pretty good.

Gamebooks!!!
Cretan Chronicles, set in Greek Mythology, you choose a patron God. I always choose Athena, she had a lisp.
Car Wars, you had a battlecar that you souped up.
Falcon, you time travelled.
My Dad noticed that I was only getting gamebooks from the library (I went everyday) so he made a rule, always had to get a non fiction book as well.

If we just had folk like that nowadays I'd possibly have a job in 5 yrs. Who am I kidding. AI is going to fuck over library staff at the same rate the Tory government will.

I wanted to work in a Library. I take the kids in the holidays, but seeing as I can afford (or at least could in the past) books they dont really need to.

My morning has been ruined by the news of Isao Takahata's death. 82 years old, so it doesn't really come as a surprise, but still I could have done without.
As a child a had a weird aversion to cheese, but after watching "Heidi" I was longing for some toasted goat cheese because the animation was so mouth watering. And I'm still mad at the 2015 Oscar for animated feature when "Princess Kaguya" missed out on the award.
Better have some toasted goat cheese for lunch.

Morning all!
No games last night, just delivering kilts to all the family for the wedding on Monday.
I bought a HDMI adapter for my PS2 and picked up Soul Calibur 2 as a post-wedding present, going to play this in preparation for the new Soul Calibur game.
Who gets married on a Monday?

Just saw a horse-drawn hearse leading a funeral cortege past our front door. 6 black limos, with a solitary white plumber's van sandwiched in the middle...
