Also if it contains flour it could be a bomb. You can make flour explode. You need a small primer explosive to disperse the flour in to the air, then a detonator to explode it. Otherwise the flour will just burn. Pyrotechnics pedant here…. It is really really hard to even make a suspension of flour even burn. Believe me we have left pounds of flour over various fields trying this. Not being a high explosive it’ll never detonate, so a decent deflagration is the best outcome…. But we’ve got at best a small flare and a humorous covering of unburnt flour. We have had much more success with a couple of gallons of petrol/diesel mix, and a few ounces of flash powder to get everything airborne. here is one of our more successful craters in a Dorset field. Being responsible nutters we had alerted the authorities, who had turned out for a cheap nights entertainment….. enjoy Flour will explode in the right circumstances. The USA averages 16 or so explosions at Mills and bakeries each year. It apparently has more explosive force than gunpowder. The difficulty is getting the dispersion right on purpose. Too much or too little flout in the air won't explode. As you 'discovered' it's not a reliable explosive. As for burning things with flour Thomas Farriner would like a word. Historically bakeries, flour mills and distilleries have been responsible for burning a lot of cities and towns down.

Sheep there with his favourite recipe from the Anarchist Cookbook. Even anarchists like freshly baked bread. If you can't have proper tea you can at least have a warm crusty loaf.

Yep. Any airborne inflammable dust can cause an explosion in the right conditions. Be it flour, sugar, coffee, custard powder, sawdust or whatever. You’re correct in that’s it’s unreliable to replicate on demand, but if it does happen accidentally, it will flatten your factory.
It’s up for debate if this is a detonation, implying high-order explosive; or deflagration (low order) due to how the flame front propagates through the medium. In a fuel air explosion such as this either can occur if conditions are right. It’s an interesting subject. Let’s have some beers and discuss.

Can't beat Roger Corman. 4*

Also, after all these years, the girl (Mrs Braveheart) is still one of the most stunningly beautiful people I've ever seen.

Actually I turned it off half an hour before the end.
The main character had a very practical solution to his fear of being buried alive. In an ideal world it would have ended there.
