Just like the Chatterbox, launched before it was ready, very little content and leaving a lot of nerds angry.
Morning.

Morning,
Today is the only day this week I'm working. I should clarify I'm off the rest of the week - I'm not just stating how lazy I intend to be at work.
TV. Modern Family. More Silicon Valley on the next train.
Games. The Division. Had the firefight outside the operations centre and then didn't go in. Did some more side missions and went back. I now have a crafting table. Break out the aquabeads! I'm level 6 now. My aim is a bit better and had a double kill with a nade.
Hope you're all refreshed after your weekend...

Modern Family is still on my list of comedies - it dropped in quality last year but seems to be back on form. This weeks April Fools episode was great.
Silicon Valley is also still humouring me.
As for other TV, my hair shirt programming of The Flash and Arrow, I got through a few episodes of Flash but think I may have finally quit Arrow.

Morning all,
Am a fan of Modern Family but I think it's getting a bit drawn out. Only so many times they can introduce a person or event which is apparently vital and has been a big thing, only for it to never be referenced again once it's been used for a joke (e.g. Phil playing in the basketball match). I should get out more.
Games Ac Origins, very large map and beautiful but, sigh, there isn't the randomness or 'other' to support it. Just a very large area to do the same few things. Makes me appreciate what Skryim was getting at.
Am surprised they didn't offer the chance to build up a home or house, an earlier AC game (the one with Rome I think) had this. Perhaps it'll come in later but the option to go back to Siwa and rennovate etc would have given that bit extra.

I don't think I've ever killed anyone with a grenade.. they always seemed very underpowered to me. Also yesterday division chat: I've found its best to always have 2 different guns for long and shorter range, I normally go for a sniper rifle and assault rifle combo. Never tried a shotgun though. My standard perk combo is the health centre and the sentry gun. Seems pretty popular amongst other players. The former can heal you even if you're down and the latter is a good for distracting mobs particularly if you're going solo.

Morning!
More WoW over the weekend for me. I won't bore you with the details.
Also went to see A Quiet Place, which was very good. The other viewers were very well behaved, for a change. This was a massive positive as the film was very quiet, almost no dialogue. So much suspense. Highly recommended, 4 (+1)*s.

Good luck llamaman and Mrs llamawoman! Blog Day Out to the church, timed for a mass, sweaty nerd intervention at the ‘does anyone know of any just lawful impediment’ part of the ceremony?

Good Monday, Went out boozing on Saturday, and as a result spent all day yesterday struggling to keep the existential dread at bay, and trying to not be sick. 4 stars.
Watched an 'orror film called The Gallows last night. Generic low budget nonsense, but ideal hangover viewing
No games

Mornin'
A decent weekend was had. Wee Wee Cooper made his Quarterback debut yesterday for the Birmingham Lions Youth. He threw two touchdowns, a 2 point conversion and a rushing TD as part of a trick play. Which was nice. He's made the change from Cornerback quite well I feel.
Gameswise it was the Division as always. Starting to save up Weekly Caches and Dailies ready for 1.8.1 on Thursday when the changes come in and the rewards become Division Tech. Top tip for Crank and Smalla, you carry X amount of ammo so best to have one of every weapon class in your loadout, you should always have enough ammo that way until the end game and the gear gets great. Likewise grenade kills, shoot people first then when they're hurt you can finish them with a nade. Your welcome.

Hello, people of Nu-blog City.
Watched Fury Road again last night. Love it. So much going on, yet so much detail captured. And shot at a speed where you can take it all in.
Back to work today. Still at home, mind.

Left over roast chicken sandwich & cheese n onion crisps. You'd have thought the catering would have done better as it's a wedding.

I thought the wedding ceremony was really moving. The best man did a great job wrestling down Socky before he could list his objections to the matrimony - it was all getting a bit too much for him and I heard he's having a lie down in the shed behind the wedding venue.
The wedding breakfast has been a bit disappointing, but I understand that they had to keep to the budget and there will be an open bar later on.
Has anyone seen Bloggie, by the way?

Hello. My day started with a dental hygienist appointment at 0830 and it has not improved significantly since then.
What sort of lunatic gets married on a Monday? What sort of lunatic does anything on a Monday, apart from taking a long hard look at their poor life choices to date?
Mine, apparently, include paying too little attention to flossing.

Gaming: Skyrim (what else?), where I've encountered my first friendly ghost (Casper?), found my next objective but decided to reach the nearest city first to sort myself out. I've also encountered another of these bumbling novice necromancers, and she had some human flesh in her pocket. Which means it's now in my pocket. Eurrgghhh. It's probably a very rare and potent ingredient, but I don't want it in my pocket. I don't want it anywhere near my other stuff in my house, either.
Any suggestions for dealing with disgusting ingredients as long as you haven't got a recipe for turning them into potions? I'm asking for a friend with too many giant's toes in their pocket.
