Morning all,
Dinochat. Got the Oseram armour following the salvage contracts. Need to work on my melee game, got beasted in the arena.
CavalrylogisticsChat. Did some reading for the next episode. Hannibal's cavalry alone required an estimated 200,000 lbs of fodder and 300,000 litres of water each day.

I don't know who the 7th player is I know. He’s sent from the past to destroy the future. I had a suspicion. I assumed he died a long time ago

It's not Germany. *taps nose* Bonjorno! I am in Venice, the Birmingham of the Adriatic. I'd be a lot happier about it if I hadn't had to get up at 3am to get here. Awroight me babby! Have you been there before? Their canal network is not all that. St Mark's Square has nothing on Gas Street Basin. Don't use the cafe's in St Mark's Square. They are astonishingly expensive. You can go a couple of streets away and only pay one arm and one leg and one kidney for a ccffee and ice cream. Also there are some water taxis that look very similar to the official gondolas but only take you to a specific destination and they don't sing. On the plus side they are about 1/6 the price. I'd recommend a trip out to the islands as well. There are some reasonably priced trips. If the weather is nice the lagoon is lovely. Also I found Venice very tiring to walk round. There are steps on almost every bridge and a bridge every 50 yards. It's good exercise for the calf and thigh muscles. The ca

For 5 weeks my ordered Tesco quilted toilet rolls have been substituted with the thinner version. Without going into gross detail, the latter are useless to me. They are always shown in stock.
Anyone else getting peculiar substitutions?

I had red wine swapped with white wine, not quite the same I admit.

I went to get some milk from the Co-Op and bought 3 bottles of whisky as they were on sale and not available anywhere else.

Chumbles we've found with our Asda order that doing an amend at the very last minute you can, means less substitutions. So shove in two bottles of gin at start of week to go over the delivery threshold. Then day before change order to what you want. But we've got the luxury of two folk who can actually visit shops and it's easier for us to enter the order.

Morning all!
Back from my expedition into the extra-M25 wilds, I didn't sleep well as having two full fat coffees rather than the instant stuff left me fully jazzed until about 2am. During a 2 hour workshop yesterday, someone unironically used the phrase 'bio break'. As in 'lets stop for a quick 5 minute bio break'. At some point should we just start calling it a piss stop?
Moribund, on a coffee come down. Bad scene today.

Anyone else getting peculiar substitutions? A couple of weeks ago we had our order of ranch steaks substituted for sirloin steaks. This would have been great except the ranch steaks were part of their Dine In for £10 deal and so we ended up being charged full price for the (substituted, but price matched) steak, the side dish, the dessert and the bottle of wine, costing us nearly ten quid more than the deal. They did reimburse us when we rang them to complain though.

I'm pretty sure that, whatever you stick in the substitutions box, Ken Murphy has instructed that higher price items are bounced.

The game is afoot (or something even stranger in the Dordogne, where the Basque separatists have expunged the French army)...

I know it's a while ago, but I'm still wondering why Bowyer took Sunjic off for Deeney in the 70th minute against Forest in October.

To be fair, I had some vegan feta recently, and I couldn't really tell the difference, very good. It emboldened me to try vegan mozzarella, which tastes of coconut and has a really weird slimy texture, quite unlike real mozzarella's chewy-gooeyness. It also lacks real mozzarella's saltiness, which surely they could have fixed easily.

Vegan mozzarrella and vegan halloumi are bad. Shenguin - Have you ever tried fermented tofu? That is quite nice. In a rotted and noisome way.
