There is an odd smell in the office. Slightly stale. I wondered what it was. Then I realise it is coming from my shopping. I bought Epoisses De Bourgogne cheese at lunchtime. Even though it is still fully wrapped there is a distinct whiff from it like something died a few days ago.

In a pub watching YouTube and an advert keeps coming up with the opening line: "Are you aged between 36 and 40 and owe £6000..." I never get further because that is when the 5 second skip happens. It seems very specific. Where's my money Felice?!? WHERE'S MY FUCKIING MONEY!!! You get the same amount of money for 5 seconds, what you need is "Like" "Subscribe" "Comment" and "get Notified". Providing something interesting* is optional just like this place. <edit>*or entertaining

Even though it is still fully wrapped there is a distinct whiff from it like something died a few days ago. You want to be outside near an open field when you unwrap it! Epoisses provided the most unexpectedly abrupt end to a dinner party I can recall when I had to sprint through the house down a dark 100' long path and chuck the cheese (by now partly metamorphosed into various stages of some nameless creatures life cycle) into the neighbouring farmer's field.

Hi
I went to Timo's Folded Pizza Company at lunch. I know I keep banging on about this place ...
Pretty sure the tough times are continuing. I went with a colleague and we were the only ones there. The manager was looking a bit raw in the eyes and apologised for not being open the other day.
We had our pizzas. They were folded. Not sure my colleague was impressed.
It isn't much of a story ...

It's literally blowing a gale outside... My current NP2 game is about to finish - I had thought that I and my ally would be knocked out very quickly, but I managed to turn one of the opposition (all friends IRL) to our side by pointing out that 4 vs 2 was rather unfair! It worked, although I still had no chance of adding to my victory count. And finishing second seems appropriate It'll be Sunday or Monday before I think about another game of NP2. Some of my various ailments require a podiatrist's interventions - supposed to be treated every 5 weeks - are now in a very bad / painful way as they were last treated in mid January. Add to that the continuing parlous state of my lower legs, which are to be treated immediately after, tomorrow afternoon will be particularly trying. So. Can whoever is holding up the Diplomacy game get their goddam finger out!

I once bought some Camembert in a French supermarket. I was nowhere near Normandy but I thought it would function as a souvenir of sorts.
A few hours later I was in an airport and appalled at the smell of the bins. Then I saw that people were distributed along an invisible perimeter about five metres from where I was sitting. It was the Camembert. Deliciously noisome when I got it home.

Hi
I'm inside watching the rain lashing against the windows, the waves crashing and listening to what seems like a force 10 gale. Certainly not beach or paddling weather. Those waves look a little too 'big boy shit' for me.
Thankfully, the speedboat guy wasn't open when we looked. A one way ticket to the bottom of the sea in this weather. Glug glug glug...
I have had a nice rum n raisin ice cream though. Plump raisins doused in lovely rum. Or what tasted like rum anyway. 4*

So. Can whoever is holding up the Diplomacy game get their goddam finger out! I'm sorry Chumbles. That was me. That's OK, especially as you were bang on with your moves - a rescue since I somewhat screwed up my convoy... Russia, old son, you don't understand stalemate lines!

"Are you sure those social media stats are correct?"
What the ones I spent most of the day compiling whilst trying to do stuff that actually matters?
"They seem a bit low" You fucking wanted them 10 days early you half wit. Was not my retort

"They seem a bit low" You fucking wanted them 10 days early you half wit. Was not my retort Why is that your role, Crank? Your boss is taking the piss... If your primary role is IT and technical support, the collection and analysis of online information is properly the Reference Librarian's job. That area: "online information" includes just about everything! Trouble is, I suspect, that broad remit is exactly why you find the job interesting!

Poor old Ken. Solid dependable honest Ken.
Cancelled by the Brighton & District wokey snowflake camera club.
Where will this madness end?
If Amipal scores a couple of 20s tonight then we know who the hatchet man is.

Maybe Ken would love to have been cancelled, rather than DEAD under Amipals new kitchen. How convenient. Bludgeoned to death with Amipals heavy duty tripod. You heard.
