Babyfark - how much of the downs did you walk? I once attempted to cycle it, but sacked it off about half way. Cool story etc. Winchester to Southease so far, about 90 odd miles I think. Need to finish it off with a final stretch of around 17 miles through the coast around Eastbourne, I think we even finish around Beachy head. My biggest gripe is the marathon races they have every weekend with hundreds of annoying runners pushing past for hours. Lots of good bird life for the first stretch around Winchester. Could do with a few more pubs though. Saw the Amex stadium, looked pretty impressive. I enjoy a good walk on the Downs. Are you walking all Seven Sisters as well?

We will be as I think it's on the coastal walk approaching Eastbourne.

Why are you doing this? Charity? Fun? Part of the get fit regime? Special forces selection?

Why are you doing this? Charity? Fun? Part of the get fit regime? Special forces selection? That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little walk. So I walked to the end of the road. And when I got there, I thought maybe I'd walk to the end of town. And when I got there, I thought maybe I'd just walk across Itchen Valley. And I figured, since I walked this far, maybe I'd just walk across the great county of Hampshire. And that's what I did. I walked clear across Hampshire. For no particular reason I just kept on going. I ran clear to the ocean. And when I got there, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well turn around, just keep on going. When I got to another ocean, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well just turn back, keep right on going.

Why are you doing this? Charity? Fun? Part of the get fit regime? Special forces selection? It's something I am doing with my old uni mates, trying to walk as many of the National Trails as we can. We did Hadrians Wall last year. Basically this is something healthy and fun. Our past activities were fun but not very healthy (as in I'm surprised we're all still alive).

The hippies gave up drugs and took up jogging. Ravers have given up drugs and taken up hillwalking. Dunno what the next generation will take up as they all seem to to the gym anyway.

Afternoon all. More studying with some dog watching thrown in. Only gaming has been some classic "It came from the desert" on the laptop. Also been watching the short lived Christian Slater spy show "My own worst enemy". Had never heard of it but am enjoying it so far. The hippies gave up drugs and took up jogging. Ravers have given up drugs and taken up hillwalking. Dunno what the next generation will take up as they all seem to to the gym anyway. They're gonna be the generation that solves the aging population crisis by killing us all off. Unless Donald manages to trigger a war that thins them out to manageable levels (along with the rest of us).

Rime is really good. It's like a good Talos Priciple. Games chat.

Not that far I don't think. It's about right difficulty wise so far, ie easy for anyone vaguely competent and rewardingly difficult for me. I love the music and art style.

Hi
I am rapidly, albeit belatedly, coming to the conclusion that my football team is not as good as it thinks it is. And it looks like we can kiss goodbye to the playoffs.
