This sounds great. I liked The Witch. I wasn't crazy about The Lighthouse. I guess the plot must be there. Maybe it's just a languorous plot? .... Iβd have thought The Lighthouse was perfect lazybones -fodder? I would have thought that too. I wasn't crazy about the farting. Farting on film is one of my least favourite things. Although I didn't realise that until I saw it.

Morning all, Gameschat. Farming stormbirds for their sparkly cannons. Filmchat. Watched The Northman. About 40 mins too long, I expect I'm wrong but perhaps arty shots and another trippy ritual aren't default substitutes for plot and action. Basically take the trailer, watch 5 seconds of it then switch to staring at a nice photo of a moutain valley of 20 minutes, then back to the trailer for another 5 seconds. Rinse and repeat. 4 stars. This sounds great. I liked The Witch. I wasn't crazy about The Lighthouse. I guess the plot must be there. Maybe it's just a languorous plot? .... Haven't seen the Lighthouse but really enjoyed the Witch. The problem is that it is being marketed as Gladiator, but nothing like it. There's action but a lot of not-action. The trailer is very misleading... If you like lots of low didgeridoo vocals in a hut or at a shamanistic festival at night then this is the film for you.

I'm one of those running wankers now.
I run 2k up and down the local hills twice a week. It absolutely destroys my back going uphill but it gets a little easier every time. I know 2k doesn't sound far but up and down hills it takes its toll.

Barely made it.
It's my own damn fault for trying to be smart and not using the usual companion word to my first guess in line 2.
Panic set in when the attempt to establish possible letters in line 3 failed.

lazybonesThe farting is key to it. A major part of the plot. It highlights the uncivil behaviour which such men would devolve to when stuck with their own company. Toot.

Afternoon all.
My partner is back to work this week, so now itβs my turn to look after the boy for the remainder of the Easter holidays.
Today, weβve been down the the beach for a run around and explore. After returning home for some lunch, weβve done some drawing, followed by building another bag of the Lego Saturn V rocket.
TVblog: All of Us Are Dead. And a Seinfeld. And half of Sharpeβs Enemy. Liz Hurley is in it - blimey. [glasses mist up]
Warhermtblog: more miniature painting, despite being under the effects of wine and rum. Surprisingly neat workβ¦

Lower back pain is often caused in running from either of these muscle groups being too tight (particularly glutes).

TrueStoryJesusDateChat.
Many years ago I was dating someone and she had one of those cinema passes. So we went to the cinema and Passion of the Christ was on.
She wanted to watch it, so we did. I'm not sure how much of this Jesus Christ fella was new to her. At the end (the scene of the empty tomb), she turned to me and asked loudly
"did he go and get them?"

I have to stretch my glutes and hamstrings just to walk from the bedroom to the bathroom in the morning. Not stretching before and after a run when you're in your 40's is madness

I'm aware I should probably know this, but now that I think about it..
Jesus was crucified. Three days later he came back for his easter eggs.
Then what happened? How did he die the second time?

Like revenge? I want to watch that film. I definitely like the Last Temptation of Christ, in large part because of the lion with the wise-guy accent.
