Oh that's fine!
The assumption is if Babyfark hallucinates it must be drug-related but for Lazy it's Sleep blah blah blah? What if <REDACTED> is my attempt to cover up an embarrassing medical condition and Lazy is actually huffing paint thinner?
*Taps head*
Something to think about.

I've just found out that Senate House Library in London has a reputation for being extremely haunted: ghostsofsenatehouse.blogspot.com/I used to go there every day at lunch. Not so much now. Their baked potato offering was a casualty of the pandemic. It's another location in Fast and Furious 6. Another workplace location at which Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson appears to act extremely inappropriately (1:02).

I printed and painted a Pot Boi. This is relevant to video games such as Super Tennis.

The most unnerving thing that happened to me in there was when I fell asleep one lunchtime. I woke up to find someone creeping towards me, with a microphone and a camera-man. Ed Milliband had been doing a speech in a nearby room and they wanted to know what I thought of it.

I saw Sir Geoffrey Howe asleep in a corner there once. Extremely soporific atmosphere.

I just had to Google Sir Geoffrey Howe to remind myself what it was that Yew Tree got him for. As he's dead, it's moral rectitude rather than fear of our country's libel laws that move me to admit that he does not seem to be the subject of allegations of historic abuse, and that I probably shouldn't just have assumed that he was.

Never stayed at the Thanet, my haunt(geddit?) was the Celtic Hotel around the corner. Never met a ghost there, either, for example in their charming communal bathrooms. (I always wondered whether anyone would actually lock the door to have a soaking bath in the tub.) Although I spent a lot of time in that area I only attended a handful of lectures in Senate House or used it as a shortcut. I must have used the ladies' toilets several times, but, as I told you, my encounter with a disembodied voice in a toilet took place on a less storied Belgian campsite. Though the question has to be asked what kind of pervert ghost would stalk a lady in a bathroom. Makes you want to not powder your nose. But I can say with confidence that I encountered many spirits in the SOAS bar next door.

I get sleep paralysis fairly regularly. It always starts with a noise, like someone is walking around the room. I then become convinced there is someone standing over me. As I can't move I try to shout to properly wake myself up, but I'm told it usually sounds more like a wail or groan than a shout. It's ok. 4 stars I've got to stop sleepwalking.

All reference libraries have that effect on me. When a mate and I worked in the Natural History Museum library for a Summer Holiday job, if there weren't many punters about one of us used to lie down behind the restricted access stacks and sleep it off whilst the other kept watch. We got the push when my mate was on watch and he fell asleep propped against the maps cabinet. But the new British Library was the pits for somnolence...

To be honest I find the lighting a bit harsh in the library section of Senate House. They could create a much more soporific atmosphere by fitting gas lamps, or candles.

Working in a corridor and a young lad aged 8 or 10 dressed in a bright red school uniform walked past me. I had locked all the doors and windows on the corridor so when he hadn't come back down after a few minutes I went to see where he had got to. No sign of him. He wasn't the least bit spectre like but he had just vanished. It has always stayed with me that he might have been a ghost.

Bags with too many zips and compartments are terrible for a night out. Who wants to constantly go into a panic because they can't find their stuff. And carrying a bum bag over your shoulder is a great recipe for leaving it somewhere.
