Hope all is well in the Chatterbox Kingdom. Since returning from the hospital I’ve re-watched the first 3 seasons of Buffy, The Thick Of It, and The Good Place. Comfort watching, eating crap food, no gaming. Any puns that will leave me in stitches? (Not that I want more stitches) So, you got mugged, shocking, I expect a full and detailed report in triplicate uploaded to the box. OMG NO GAMING - quick call out the guard a chatterboxer is in distress. My absolute sympathies on the no gaming it's a sad state of affairs when a gamer can't even go about his/her usual daily routines killing zombies and the like without some numpty giving you grief. There were a lot of dog thefts a while back. I got a heavy duty walking stick on line from a Shillelagh maker in Ireland. It's made from rhododendron and you most certainly wouldn't want to be wacked with it. A perfectly legal weapon. And it helps my dodgy knee when walking.

Never been mugged. I had a knife pulled on me once, but it was ok as it was a case of mistaken identity. It was actually another guy who looked a bit like me that they planned on stabbing. We had a good chuckle about it afterwards.
I've been punched a couple of times outside pubs, as a result of me being hilarious at the expense of people who didn't appreciate my sense of humour.

I worked with a fella who's wife worked in a post office. A gun man armed with a shot gun walked in and told her to put all the money in a sack. She told him not to be so silly. What would your mum say she asked him. He turned round and walked out. She got a bravery award. She said she wasn't being brave it was just the first thought that came to her mind. It wasn't till after he walked out that she realised he could have shot her.

Closest I ever got to being attacked was at a party in a hall, a group of us went in and I and another bloke were in last, I was stopped by a rather scary dude enquiring upon my right to be at the party, I said "I'm with him", when my "friend" was asked about the truth he said, "never seen him before".
Things were looking bleak with him saying "don't look for your mates, they can't help", finally the "friend" admitted he was lying, the dude then smacked him in the face saying "don't lie to me again".
I later found out that the same dude stabbed someone in the party.
Happy Times.
