So far I haven't seen a 1960s kitchen sink drama I haven't liked. They're all quite short. All have a good chance of a sing-along scene in a pub scene. A good dose of on-the-nose realness.
I suppose Obi Wan Kenobi chat is off limits.

Maybe when they decide to tell us Liz has bought the farm (it's clear to anyone who can do their own research that she died decades ago) then there should be some sort of raffle to decide who is the next King/Queen. Let's say 50p a ticket, or 5 for £2. And to be fair to everyone, Charles can try his luck too and buy a ticket. The jug eared plank.

They make him out to be a bit too weak and he doesn't really do any force stuff. Bear in mind we was basically reading people's minds, spinning in the air, moving large objects around with his mind etc not long ago it seems a bit of a downgrade.
And there are still no decent baddies.

The bit in Obi Wan where they were executing order 66, the Jedi were getting nobbled by two or three storm troopers. Seems completely at odds with them beating off hundreds of them in the films.

I wish they’d have made more effort to make it look more like it was taking place fifteen years before 'A New Hope' - stylistically, and in terms of haircuts, camera filters and so in. Is that too much to ask?
It seems very 2022. I’d much rather it looked like … 1962? ...

I have been pricking out some pansies. You heard.
Waiting for garage to call and tell me to come and collect my ailing vehicle. Have defrosted a steak, and will slice it and get it in a marinade for stir-fry later tonight.

I'm thinking the Empire hasn't become truly evil yet, though we sort of see it with the way Reva Sevander gets bullied. At some point the Empire begins handing out all its plum jobs to corrupt old white men like Moff Tarkin and Admiral Ozzel. And it just becomes the Third Reich in space.

I would like to see Darth Vader do some more of the really bad stuff - breaking employee's necks, attacking his colleagues in meetings, torturing diplomats (related or otherwise).
You can't really match him for badness, unless you're a cackling space warlock. Which is why pretty much everything since Return of the Jedi has been disappointing ....
