Hello punters,
Went into GTA last night as I had full supplies in the coke factory and I knew my bunker had stuff and it was the last night of double $. Made $500k and went to bed. Deliberately didn't restock any businesses in GTA and I'll be avoiding the rockstar news so I'm not tempted by this week's pish. Tonight, The Division.
TV. Catching up with Billions and the second series of The Good Place seems less meh a couple of episodes in.
Books. Got the new Irvine Welsh likeasay. Not started it yet.

Ni No Kuni 2 last night. I'm 8 hours in and now it's properly opening up and I have side quests.
I have intentions of completing this and Far Cry 5 in the next few days to free up space/funds for God of War and the new Yakuza.

Last night we continued Jessica Jones S2. Up to Ep8 now and I think I prefer this season to the first one. The first one seemed to be a slog but this is ticking along nicely. Opinions eh?
The Division. 1.8.1 has been an excellent addition. The free DivTech for completing Dailies and Weeklies mean that instead of farming in the Dark Zone you can just do the minimum to get the cache if you're pushed for time. Half an hour at most should see you through 3 of the 4 dailies, 75 DivTech, plus if you do a bit of farming you can realistically get 150+ in around an hour. I'm almo finished optimising my 6 piece Nomad set now, currently 290 GS and very nearly indestructible.
Bloggie and Crank. West Side Piers might be an idea for you both too. Better gear with no PvP tomfoolery. Tougher baddies though. Just push yourself through the Tiers as quickly as possible.

WeeCooper I'm cracking on through the underground missions at the moment. Rank 15. Need to give west side pier a try, I've tried survival and last stand but neither grabbed me. I think I'm at the point where things get technical, 260 odd gear score and everything that drops is lower than my current gear.

Hi. Also watched a bit of J Jones 2 last night, it's warming up after a confusing start. Then Mad Max Fury Road the movie, which I think I enjoyed. Finally played a bit of a game called Virginia.

@crank Keep going, it doesn't take long to get to 30 from starting if you concentrate on the story missions, doing side stuff as you go.
@bloggie It sounds as if you need to move up World Tiers, you'll get gear drop that's lower than you have but that'll always happen and it's percentage based. I was late to Underground, got to 20 and dropped it but went back recently and I'm really enjoying it. Apart from the electroshock stuff which is frustrating as fuck. I didn't really like Survival much, an interesting idea that was done well but I bounced off it. Last Stand is a bit of fun but Horde Mode has never wet my sponge.

There are two electricians in my house atm, apparently having a massive argument under the living room floor. I am hiding upstairs and not sure what the etiquette is in this scenario. Offer them a cup of tea? Ask if they saw the match the other day? Nail the hatch shut and run for it?

Yesterday we enjoyed another episode of Mad Men (the "Little Kiss" double billing). Zou Bisou Bisou. We also enjoyed Amber Rudd squirm whilst David Lammy tore her a new one over the incompetence and nastiness of the Home Office. Now she's going to set up a taskforce of 20 people to clean up the mess that the rest of her department has made. This doesn't inspire confidence that said department is fit for purpose. And now this helpful leaflet has come to light www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/apr/17/outrage-over-guide-for-british-residents-being-deported-to-jamaica that instructs you to put on a local accent so that you will blend in in case you have been deported in error. (I'm not looking forward to dealing with the Home Office when Brexit finally comes around and some kind of mechanism needs to be invented to register EU nationals living here. Mr Enemy needs to get his Irish passport organised if leaving is the better option.) |
