Ottm. I was playing BF:V on the PS5 the other night and I'm convinced a guy was using one of those k/m to controller things. He was shooting and jumping around 180 degrees in mid air. Stuff it's hard to do with a controller.

I have bought a Switch Lite off Ebay and it should arrive tomorrow. I bought Mario Kart 8 too, again arriving tomorrow.

Greetings, Solstice nerds Ocado delivery earlier today and I now have all the refreshments I need. Sunny and warm with a light breeze. Ideal conditions to sit inside and play Animal Crossing. But I need to play Xenoblade Chronicles instead so that I maybe have a chance of catching up with the series. XC 3 themed Nintendo Direct tomorrow afternoon, no doubt taking us to the very top of the banana. Why did they have to bring the release date for XC 3 forward, the mad lads? Release dates always get pushed back! I thought I had at least until September to finish the first game and maybe even XC 2. Now all my plans are ruined by this unseemly hastiness. I'm fairly sure we played a cheat on Fortnite last night.
Its possible he was just a top player, but it was two first time one shot kills while doing other stuff. It seemed two quick and too accurate to be a real player. I have seen some pretty decent players, but not that good. If it had been sniping from a distance then maybe, but it was roll, jump, build kill in one fluid movement while I was trying to avoid it and the same to Shenguin while he was hidden.
I didn't report it, but I wish I had.

I'm now at just over 12 1/2 hours at work today, with another hour or so to go, and then possibly some work this evening at home.
First beer at 04.45, second beer at 17.30. Probably shouldn't have left such a long gap. Probably also shouldn't be drinking at work again.

My mum and dad move house tomorrow. They dropped off a big plastic trunk this afternoon that I assumed was lost years ago, which I/they must have stashed in their loft when I moved out of uni nearly 25 years ago. It contained (amongst other lesser treasures):
My undergraduate dissertation, a ton of textbooks, and well thumbed copies of the Belgariad fantasy series
Some quite cringy but undeniably steamy old love letters from my first proper GF
A ton of old knackered skate t shirts, and a couple of pairs of jeans with a 30" waist (hah)
Grand theft auto (with original poster insert) and Tomb Raider 1 and 2 for the PSX plus some controllers
A Toshiba personal cassette player with some outrageously toxic batteries in it
2 Cypress Hill CD's, a ton of hip hop and jungle mix tapes, and VHS copies of Dumb and Dumber and Withnail & I
A barely worn pair of blue Adidas high tops in The original box
2 shoe boxes with all of my toy matchbox/corgi cars from being a littl'un
A quite significant lump of (now) granite hard cannabis resin, substantial enough in size that I remember losing it quite vividly
A fun afternoon going through all that stuff, with a fun evening of googling the viability of quarter century old hashish to look forward to

My friend is convinced there are a bag of superdoves in his mother's close basement as he used to keep them there when he was dealing. He also "remembers" losing them as he had to pay the tick bill.
