Oooh, interesting. I definitely prefer this thread to Admin's Wednesday thread. Nice use of the Cyrillic alphabet. You're the best Shenguin.

So, games chat, is the cleric beast actually beatable or not? I really need to know.

So, games chat, is the cleric beast actually beatable or not? I really need to know. Yes. You need to grind some souls first though (easy to hide in the doorway of the house and kill the wolves) up Dex and strength. Early doors keep close to him and hammer dodge/slash. When he jumps away at low health hit him with Molotovs and he'll die.

I knew keeping us in this confined space would turn into a lord of the flies scenario.
I'm going to play both sides off against the other, so I always end up on top.

I'm guessing that's not high enough, especially as I'm not very good.

Poor Destry, he finally feels important then gets stabbed mercilessly in the back.
Good morning, today I have to give another presentation for Uni.
I finished writing it at 06:45 this morning.

the Cleric beast is fairly easy. You need to dance to his side or be right underneath him. Hit him a bit and run away. When he roars he is much more aggressive. This lasts for maybe 30 seconds to a minute. You can wait this out. Molotov cocktails do help, but they are very expensive and you don't need them.
What you might need is a full quota of blood vials. If the shortcut back to the top via the house is open you can rinse them for vials. Otherwise you really need to open this shortcut. you can summon Father Gascoigne to help you,but you shouldn't need him.

Once you've done the Cleric Beast the rest of the game is fairly easy That's what I'd heard. About another 5 hours of playing time after the Cleric Beast, and it's a walk in the park, yeah? Thanks Sheep, the shortcut is open, but I don't know nothing about no summoning of Father Gazza.

Once you've done the Cleric Beast the rest of the game is fairly easy Its the first 3 bosses. I had more trouble with Gazza and Amelia than the later bosses. Gaz is a real piece of work at times. Relentless attacks. Father G is summonable from the main courtyard at the bottom I think. It's quite a way off from the actual boss fight.

I did Cleric before heading off to Gazza.
Never beat Gazza, got fed up, played Ratchet and Clank, never looked back.

I'm sure I read lvl 15/16 is the sweet spot as enemies also level up with you and any higher and it gets negated. Agree with sheep definitely don't buy Molotovs you should have some stacked up by now. Cleric beast made me give up the first time, but it should click soon. Definitely the hardest of the early bosses for me, father Gascoigne was easy.
