Best steak condiment?
A bottle of salty tears collected from a weeping vegan.
Splash it on like vinegar. Boodiful.

Monday. Collected cats ashes from vets, made salad for lunch (2 events not connected), been for weightwatchers weigh in and I've lost 1 stone - take that, cardiovascular disease! (Fucking starving, mind.) Few more weeks and I might try to put my cool jeans back on again. Definitely having some lager later. Got back from Wales yesterday - 4 more hours on AC Odyssey last night, still loving it again, I'm the flashing dagger of the Aegean. Off to pick daughter up from school - doesn't break up til Wednesday ffs. Other daughter went out to walk to a friend's house a couple of miles away without a raincoat about an hour ago - and it's absolutely LASHED it down for the past 45 mins. She keeps doing this and PM thinks she needs to learn a lesson so I haven't rung her to rescue her - hope she hasn't floated away

I like a peppercorn sauce on steak, but the best I’ve had is a beef-dripping red wine sauce. BOODIFUL. As for the ketchup comments… you’re all a bunch of heathens. Nothing comes close to the standard Heinz. Even their reduced sugar one is a pale imitation. The only alternative I’ve tried that I’ve found acceptable is Stokes: www.stokessauces.co.uk/shop/ketchup-sauces/ketchup/I have no informed opinion on the subject because I can't remember ever trying supermarket own brand ketchup. But I often get Stokes instead of Heinz. On one occasion my granddaughter had almost half a bottle of Stokes ketchup because she vastly preferred it over the stuff she gets at home, so it got the gourmet toddler seal of approval. Sauce to go with steak, my favourite is Béarnaise. Je suis désolé.

For me ... It's HP Fruity Sauce.
Very nice.
But I don't like buying it because (though I've only seen it in one place over the last 20 years and actually did buy it) ... it only comes in plastic bottles and, not only do they tip out of the fridge when half empty (because they're not heavy enough), I would also hate to think of a humpback whale dragged from the sea 50 years' hence, with an empty HP Fruity Sauce bottle lodged in its blowhole.
I don't what I'd have on steak. I'm a meat-sceptic. Probably horse radish.

I was talking to the pm's nan's Geordie ex-soldier neighbour yesterday. He told me he got a 'care package' sent to him from Newcastle. In it there was a selection of ribs, and a bottle of rib sauce. He showed me the rib sauce. I had a sniff. Smelled nice! Like brown sauce but ... different.

Evening all!
On 'olidays still, so only did around 2 hours of work today. Top banana.
Played bear games in the recent timeframe, that Multiversus is alright. Also some Final Fantasy VIVIXIVI on that Playstation Premium. It was also nice to see the nightly mints on my pillow following the PS Plus premium subscription.
Condiments - Aoiiolioi (foreign garlic mayonnaise) is top shelf. Also Heinz ketchup. The two cornerstones of modern democracy.
Rishi bringing out the yellow peril as the issue of the day today. Yesterdays was sending more people to Rwanda if I recall correctly. Sort of like a racist advent calendar in the run up to the Tory head boy/girl election.

Ketchup is alright. It has its place. To brighten up cheap sausages, or overcooked bacon on a sandwich, it's hard to beat. Daddies over heinz every time though you savages, bit less sweet and more vinegary. Stokes if you want the taste of tomatoes (but if you do try a fucking tomato?)
It can be made better - I'm sure none of you will ever do this, but if you squeeze three or four tablespoons into a container, add a big slug of soy sauce, a scant teaspoon of sesame oil & whip it together, you have a sauce that tastes radically different and actually goes beautifully with meat, even steak. I'd encourage you to give it a go though, on the basis that even if you think it's shit it's cost you about 6p... Always have a tupperware of it in the fridge for dipping leftovers in, and lathering the roasted vegetables that wife seems to keep making. (Never tried it with co-op own brand to be fair)

I have just found £2.60 down the back of the sofa. It doesn't get any better than this I put the roof box on the car last week and it had a long forgotten rucksack in it, which had an old-style tenner in it - which they accepted at a pub in Criccieth the other day. So it does get better than that, but only by 284.6%, and only rarely
