You're in for a real treat. Just play co-op with a friend and...
Oh.
I've got 104 friends. (sob) 99 more than me.

The Wire and The Sopranos are ace. Not sure how well they have aged. I didn't get on with Breaking Bad. I thought it was repetitive. I know this was partly a consequence of the writers' strike when it was made. Also the portrayal of his wife seemed problematic. I know they had a sick son and she dedicated herself to him, and it was partly intended to show how he felt trapped. I felt it went well beyond that to the point his wife was barely a two dimensional character. Tere seemed to me there was a misogyny in the way the show was made that was inherently problematic. I don't like Family Guy much for the same reason. It has a sexism to it that seems to be inherent to the show, not to a character.

The Wire and the Sopranos are GOAT. Both have aged pretty well

I wouldn't put Breaking Bad in the same bracket as them. It was fun, but a bit more formulaic, and overly reliant on cliffhangers

How did people get into Buffy? I’m not sure I ever saw when it was on. Me either. Though I didn't really watch TV for a chunk of that period. Like Hans Solo, your Chewie period?

Quiz of the week: 5/7
Buffy quiz: 7/20
All guesses. I have never seen it. I don't watch much television.
The first time I heard about it was in a German magazine where they were intrigued by the title but had no other information.
I still think that it's a stupid title.

Are we doing period chat? I'm a bit confused.
I'm now on my third organisation in a row where I've argued for and made happen giving away free period products to people that need them. In all cases, it probably would have happened anyway at some point without me. Nonetheless, I'm quite proud of this.
(In two cases it was happening already, to be fair, but paid for by staff out of their own money. I really just formalised it.)
Edit: thanks a bunch Tent Hen. I was clearly replying to the posts before yours, and you've gotten in the way.

That's because 'Buffy' referred to the quintessential all American girl/cheerleader type, thus appealing to the standard red blooded American football playing Neanderthals which typically adorned American campuses in the late 80's early 90's.

Classic Babyfraud. Lying low in the Costa Del Sol with his cockney mates whilst the heat from the undercover bacon cools off.

You learn something new every day. To me it sounds more like a P.G. Wodehouse name. But how about this? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pets_of_Vladimir_PutinI didn't know that in Russia even 5-year olds were Buffy fans. Wonder how he did on that quiz.
