Norwich I enjoyed my trip there it went surprisingly well. That is to say Blues were nt humiliated. 2-2, lost 4-2 on penalties. We even had a chance to win it at the end. I was glad there is no extra time. I didn't get home until 1.30 as it was. It would have been more like 2.30 with ET. Great Eastern DesertSuccessfully traversed this in both directions. Not much green except in the trees. Especially after dark. Fortunately I didn't have to enter Essex - The Gobby Desert. I was surprised by the repairs to the A11. I thought they were only just starting to make it a dual carriageway north of Newmarket in 2002. I'm sure it was single carriageway almost all the way then. The extent of the repairs ssuggests the construction couldn't have been very good. You shouldn't have to completely close one side of a 20-25 year old road for a year. Sam CosgroveI had not seen him take a penalty. I don't want to see it again. Same with Jonathan Leko The slow, placed penalty that does not deceive the keeper is disappointing. If you are going to mess up at least do so while belting the ball as hard as possible.
Big Sam missed a penalty? Bad news if he's lost that ability since about half the goals in his 14 month purple patch were penalties. Mind you, I see Kenny McLean missed one too and you'd normally put your mortgage on him.
Any views on the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre?

I didn't go in to the centre properly. Just parked opposite the station. I have been there before and Norwich is a pretty nice lace. But did have traffic right through the centre.

Can you say anything about the possibility of being in a simulation if you’re actually in that simulation?
Doesn’t it make everything open to question? Your perceptions, your reasoning?

Enough of this nonsense, just stab yourself in the balls and tell yourself it's OK because it's just a simulation.
You'll thank me later.

People have been experiencing the Fae for a very very long time and telling us of their existence. But most people still aren't able to accept such things. So our chances of ever recognising the majority of other life forms is pretty low.

There will never be a third Rothfuss book. I've checked the simulation coding. It's not in there

Of course if we are in a simulation, whoever is controlling it is also likely to be living in a simulation

Why?
I'm not sure you would set up simulations to run simulations. That sort of madness leads to Melvazord.

Anyone done 'Simulate THIS' yet? We’d need a lookup-table to store the points that describe a three-dimensional object. Unfortunately, with the data available to us, I don’t believe the simulation would be able to plot on object.

I could answer the question of whether aliens exist and why they never visited. A) Yes they do exist. B)Because we are too primitive and therefore untrustworthy/prone to violence and because you touch yourself at night.

Still trying to get a podiatry home visit - the morphine I'm taking is so that I can bear the pain of walking around and standing whilst doing day-to-day stuff and on days where I have to do the preparation for treatment, it's very unpleasant. It's also 30° c in here already, so I am very glad to have got my laundry done by 7 a.m. I'm very very fortunate that my next door neighbours can't hear my very loud mission aero blasting out ST:Discovery S3:E3. (I'm losing some of my queued up watch list - I do wish Jeff Prime would give you more than a months notice of it departing; I can't possibly watch 4 seasons of a series in that time, unless I do nothing else and I am not giving up watching Dorklina's insane take on Solasta as it develops; she makes me laugh)... Here's a sample episode - she's very far from expert! I'm glad it's a simulation.

Couldn’t you run all the arguments used to support the idea that this world is a simulation on the world that would be doing the simulating too?
Where would the madness end?

FYI in case you were not aware. Elite Dangerous has an upgrade so you will need to UG when you go to sign in.
The Proteus weapon was fired to little effect, the Thargoids are back.
