I fucking HATE Wankows 11; if I wanted a mobile phone interface, I'd've bought a goddam tablet. I now have my server back and happy (now half a ton of dead skin has been removed). My printer now works perfectly (the fault wasn't solved, but I couldn't make it work because a fault in my brainware kept me trying to make the wireless interface work when I had the bloody thing connected via RJ45 to my Nova Mesh, so can treat it as though it's direct ethernet link, doh). But the big rig needs a ton of work for it to work as it did. A combo of duff eyesight* and exhausted brain don't help. The accessibility stuff is first stop. *The fan cooling the room does its job, but the pollen it blows around makes my eyes itch and focussing is off. I can't use W11 with Discord for some reason, the mic is all fuzzy and screechy. It goes away when I roll back to W10. I am therefore holding out with W10 as long as I can. |

Try talking more clear and slowly. Maybe lower the pitch a bit as well. |

Morning all!
Watched Jurassic Park III with the boy yesterday. Actually had terror screeched from him at one scene a there’s a raptor which you think is in a formaldehyde tank, but then it moves… never heard him scream like that before! 😬
He slept absolute fine regardless.
TVblog: Seinfeld.
Filmblog: I also watched Star Trek Generations. Did a watch-through of the TOS films a while back, but didn’t continue with the TNG ones.
Since I watched Coleman’s retrospective of Generations the other day, I thought I should continue. And so
I did.
I like it anyway…

I went to the supermarket earlier and while I was out the child's pal from two doors up came over for her and they've been at hers all afternoon.
This meant I was able to make a huge amount of Ragu for dinner/freezer and I also roasted some veg and put together enough couscous to do lunch the next couple of days.
I would of course have rather played games and the like.
Been raining all day.

I am older. 49 (still clinging on) Shenguin is a mere stripling at 44. Also my hair is salt and salt and pepper. His is more salt and pepper still. In certain ways it is still very clear I am the elder brother. Not many, but a few. I don't think that will change. |
