Though he and his wife did pocket some ramekins from the bar of the Hyatt in Brum.
So if you go there and get served peanuts straight on to the table you know whose fault it is.

I am also on childcare duty today. Took the boy bowling and had the classic parenting dilemma of whether to let him win, thus avoiding a tantrum, or beat him* and thereby teach a valuable life lesson.
In the end I went for two games. Let him win the first one, then crushed him in the second

Afternoon.
I happened to be in my home town today and drove past my childhood home for the first time in about 15 years. I was expecting a rich Proustian rush but it just inspired feelings of disorientation and emptiness.
On the plus side, I discovered they've built a McDonald's on top of the park where I used to play football, so I got a large chicken legend meal with all the trimmings. Delicious!

Although I was nothing but a mere lurker at the time, I was deeply affected by the big Cathedral City pile-on. To this day I have to tell myself that I'm my own woman and I can eat any e-dam cheese I like when it comes to Cathedral City. I'm with lazybones.
