Speaking of cheese, for lunch I combined some leftover slices of Gouda and some tortillas that were nearing their best before date into some impromptu quesadilla.
I always have to overcome a mental barrier when it comes to cheese puns involving Gouda because all my life I've pronounced "Gouda" the Dutch way. I only learnt about the British pronunciation from puns because at first I thought that they didn't work at all.

Cathedral City is our goto cheddar.
The child isn't a fan. She's more of a double Gloucester kind of gal.
We had a student dinner of penne, tomato sauce from the freezer, frozen peas and chicken in breadcrumbs. The peas and tomato sauce weren't left frozen.

One day DarkQuark posted a link to someone playing, I think, ‘Africa’ by Toto, on empty glass bottles, and he was torn apart.
The bullies he led against my innocent love of Cathedral City turned on him and he was never to be seen again. At least until he began making shitloads as a Twitch streamer….
