Morning all!
I’ve been on the grand tour, this time visiting the home of my four fathers, who ran a shipping company importing coconut shells for use making the horse sounds in theatre productions. Peter Andre actually once refused to go on stage for a production of The Seagull because Dakyl brand coconuts weren’t being used for the horse sounds.
Tv - westworld. It’s all gotten a bit confusing. Who’s a robot and who isn’t? Door for thought.
Games - no. Left the switch and PlayStation at the mercy of our house. Hopefully they are still there when we get back.
I think I might of caught covid as well. Feeling distinctly weak need and generally feverish. Top banana.

Might go for a stroll.

Pub had Sharpe's Sea Fury at £2.00 a pint. Apperently he wanted to clear to put on something different. Helped my local community by having 3 pints. Would have had more but no room after having a roast lunch as well.

We have returned from a quick jaunt up the Tye. The boy scoffed blackberries straight from the bushes.
I did not partake, but it did remind us that there are some in the freezer… blackberry and apple crumble please!

At the in-laws fixing Plex. It wasn't Plex though. They'd unplugged one end of a power-ethernet thing.
But their Denon still won't see the WD Nas.
They have a very slow Samsung all in one PC. It's very nice and actually ok specced for its age. An SSD would sort it right out. I checked, but the wankers at Samsung have put the drive space behind the panel and involves a heatgun and other things I'm not attempting to replace. Absolutely fuckery from the Korean lads. No stars.

That sound odd Crank, you can't just screw off a panel or motherboard? They actually soldered around the HDD?
I found some Thornbridge ales in the garage that are 6 months out of date. I'm on my second can.

There's a YouTube video of someone doing it. The drive if you get to it is removable. It's just acually getting to it. It's not soldered but you need a heatgun to loosen the screen and lift it off as the motherboard is connected to it.

To counterbalance amipal's wholesome parenting post, I forgot to give faceless jnr breakfast this morning, until gone midday. He's been sat in his pants watching YouTube since 8am. I was planning on taking him out somewhere this afternoon, but I'm still hungover and can't be arsed

We spent so long at the in-laws I'm now making chilli we were meant to be having tonight which we'll have tomorrow and freeze some. I had to buy a takeaway for dinner.
And I forgot to go buy more beer. Once this is on bubbling I might pop out for some.
Listening to Don Letts. Red Stripe anyone?
