It's Monday, and this time I'm off to East Sussex for five days.
As before I'll try to post a new box each day but, if not, well I'm sure you'll muddle through somehow...

On holiday again? I think you have too much time on your hands.
Broken Britain, etc...

East Sussex is the best Sussex, despite containing Newhaven.
Morning all!
I went to bed far too late, and ended up waking up feeling knackered in the process. Clearly I cannot burn the candle at both ends.
Still, at least I'm up to date with Britain's Biggest Warship. Worth watching if only to understand how dangerous life on a first-in-class vessel is.

East Sussex is the best Sussex Outrage. West Sussex has Crawley, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, so....er, yeah, East is probably better

Morning all,
Decided to do the Heroes Run 5km and go along in my armour. Spent a considerable time researching Roman marching speeds, seems 2.85 mph was around the standard though Vegetius reckoned 20 Roman miles in 5 hours meant 3.68 mph. Bearing in mind they had 30kg or around that amount it's a fair slog. I won't be anywhere near that pace.
Films Watched Alien Covenant, a very good ending wasted. I get that if everyone did the safe thing nothing would have happened but it seems everyone on the mission did their utmost to get killed.
Games More Assassins Origins. Still a bit meh though I will complete it. Unsure of the need for all the perks though, most seem a bit pointless.

Good Morning you lot.
TV. The Good Place and I finished the latest Billions which I'm still enjoying a lot.
Games. The Division. Not moved up from level 8 and as I didn't get much of a run at it I was just doing side missions. My base wings are only at 30%. Just before bed I was mooching about sniping cleaners and think I came across the dark zone as there was a Comms message about it. Then I died as some guy came out of nowhere and clubbed me.
I was with my sister & nephew yesterday. We were clearing stuff from my mum's flat. My nephew was bored - despite having a 2ds and a switch with him. I may or may not have at some point uttered the phrase "Stop moaning - do you know what I would give to have a whole day to play games?". Sigh. Fuck you middle age.

Is there a second season of billions now? Damian Lewis is great in everything. Division chat- I still need to add you! I appear to have hit a bit of a wall, I'm level 260 gear (ish) without getting any higher and can't be bothered with underground missions, still need to check out west side pier. Been grinding Lexington to try and get full nomad gear but not had much luck and putting DivTech into my showstopper, as from the net it seems to be the best shotgun. I want an exotic rifle but only have the Bullfrog, which I've been reliably informed is awful. What have I become.

Morning gents (there's no ladies here, right?)
A weekend made up of gardening, God of War and Yakuza 6.
God of War - Absolutely fantastic, plus I feel like I'm playing it inside a moving rocket because my Playstation sounds like it might blow up. Gorgeous game, combat is fantastic when you get used to it.
Yakuza 6 - It's a Yakuza game with Takeshi Kitano in it, that's all I care about at the moment.

Is there a second season of billions now? Season 3! If you've not seen 2 I'll not say much - but lots of intrigue/twists and you need to get about it (was the Metallica episode S1? That's been the only low point for me) Yeah add me. I'm crankcaller on psn. I'm terrible though.

Good morning all
I have been playing Mad Max and I'm sort of enjoying it. The landscape is a bit desolate and the combat is like a slightly sub-par Arkham game.
Games are struggling to keep my attention at the moment. There's nothing that's really grabbed me for a while, I tend to play something for a few hours then forget about it. I will probably pick up FC5 when it goes cheap, but didn't really like the last one as it was way too similar to 3

I have started watching Monty Python again, this time on Netflix. "Another Gestapo Officer" being the highlight for me so far from episode 1. Played more Fortnite too, I think I managed one kill last night and a 12th place among dying an awful lot. Weather overcast and a bit chilly.

And kept getting my ass handed to me by the phylakes. Played Skyrim instead, now I’m deep in Far Cry 5 and dabbling in god of war. Which are both great fun. I’m waiting for Kratos to say “indeed”

Scubar - I bought the DLC legionary pack and it makes it easier (from what I've read). Phylakes I tend to leave alone, took down the first one and it was a close fight. Normally on 'level up' moments I spend 2-3 days deliberating, but the options aren't that great.
Level up loads for a perk which might be viable once or twice in a game? Er, thanks. Some of the quests have been varied but the size of the map is largely redundant if you are just going to fill it with fetch quests.
I'm also confused as to the bazaar quests, I never seem to get these, the kid just tries to sell me things.
How would you compare it to FC5?

Morning!
More WoW over the weekend for me. Dabbling in 'multi-boxing' now, which is the simultaneous playing of 3 accounts. It's taxing but still fun, in its own way.
TV wise we got caught up with the many series that have started running again. Also started a new one (because the 8 or so currently on just isn't enough), Marvels Runaways. As the title suggests it's another Marvel series and seems ok so far. Into the Badlands is back tonight! Been looking forward to this one. Still have Westworld to catch up on, now that's back. Oh, and Suits and Gotham and Kiss Me First and Forged In Fire . . . Schedulers really need to get better at their jobs.

Fortnite. I am not very good. I died a lot, usually quite late in the game because of my avoidance of crowds*. Played some Duo Fortnite with Rolling, but he didn't seem to be very good at keeping me alive, perhaps because I'd had too much wine by then.
*Yes, that's right, I'm a Birmingham City fan.

In all seriousness, I did want to explore in AC:O more than Far Cry 5, but F.C. has been a lot more fun to play.
The bazaar quests, the kid talks to you the first time you go up, then there’s a marker for somewhere random, go deal with that then go back.

It feels a bit like last of us meets... smashing stuff up. And I say that as someone who never liked the old God of War games that much. Virtua Fighter 5 (aka Yakuza 6) is as good as I remember too.

Are you greeting the loos again? Monday again already? I can never get used to this. If in Skyrim today I don't get to kill a dragon I shall be very disappointed. Happy St George's Day!

Why isn't St George's Day a bank holiday in England? A disgrace.

Morning. Up too late playing Fortnite as usual. Managed a few games with Shenguin while I could just about still see straight. High point was when I tried to shoot a guy who was coming up behind him, but pressed the wrong button and threw a bandage at him instead, while he shotgunned me in the face. 4 stars.

Looks like the dragon isn't the only thing I killed. Sorry about that. Maybe you should have told him to do the work and played games instead. It never occurred to my parents that e.g. visiting relatives might be easier if they brought along some toys to keep my brother and me occupied. So wherever they took me I was literally twiddling my thumbs unless something that resembled a toy could be found ("Go and play with this, errr, stick"). It taught me patience... and is the reason why these days I always take entertainment along if there's the slightest chance of a wait. My childhood was filled with so much dead time that it's enough for a lifetime.
