I actually turned on the heating for an hour this morning. Probably have to sell a kidney or go on the game to cover the cost. The heating on in September! Get him Greta!!

Oops - 'accidentally' not actually. Goddam autocorrect. I'm not turning it on deliberately until Christmas Day. 30 minutes as a present to the family.

Would anyone like to borrow a book? The fees for late return are very reasonable. I'm curious about this post. What book, why late return and how reasonable? So many questions, so many.

It links to the two posts above it. I was pretending to run a library. Not a great joke, but I had hopes some people would at least understand it.
What I mean is please like my comment.

So, is everyone looking forward to Truss's massive support package? I'm not yet mature enough to see the word truss without laughing. For some reason I thought of Tuffers when reading this

As it's on Game Pass I've started playing "Disney Dreamlight Valley", a cross between Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, if I hadn't already sold my soul to Disney I'd be worried. 4*
<edit>Just logged back in, the game is synched to your time, it's pissing it down.

In my Capita days we had a tiny room tucked away which served as the prayer room, breast feeding room and "chill-out" room. It was bullshit though, they would never let me chill out in there when someone was breast feeding. Didn't pray hard enough, obvs.

Lunch! Cheese sandwich, Toasted. Mozzarella. No mushrooms. Bit bland to be honest. Needed to be cheddar with some onions. Lesson learned.

12p an item per day, up to a maximum of £3 per item. One days grace. Whoever she is.
No charge for seniors or kids. Or folk with carers. So that's some of you there right there. Seniors I mean.

Any public libraries that still charge fines are generally trying to stop it. But as it's one of the few income streams that libraries have & councils love it's a difficult one.

Afternoon all.
Lunchblog: slow-cooked pork in a barbecue sauce, served in a toasted panino with pickles sweet peppers, melted cheddar, and some hot sauce. Boodiful.
Workblog: with my colleague currently on holiday, people are expecting me to pick up his work. I certainly didn’t expect to do actual work when I switched the laptop on this morning. Surely this is against my human rights?

Cough Update Hmm I am feeling a bit troughy, rather than peaky. I took some paracetamol at lunch, but I still feel achy.
It might just be tiredness and the current thunderstorm, but I suspect I will be sleeping much of this evening.
TL;DR Keep your dirty paws off my stuff.
