Good lord man put it away!
Anyway, while thatβs in progress, Iβm on the trains again. Live-blogging a trip through mourning hub alpha aka London. Itβs a dour atmosphere, although it could partly be because of that
Nintendo direct - semi banana. Octopath 2 should keep tenth enemy busy until the end times.
Running early so far - no coffee in hand yet though and still to traffic through mourning ground zero

Keep the updates from our nation's capital coming please Terrence. If you could deliver them in the voice of a sad Sophie Raworth that would be optimal.

Iβve made it through the fog of mourning shrouding central London. Regentβs Park. A poignant reminder of happier times. The populace are generally sullen, hefty, and in a rush. That may just be because itβs too fucking early and everyone is trying to get a coffee before they get the train.
Following Dakyl protocol to a tee Iβve gotten to the station ridiculously early, and will use this as an excuse to buy a second (2) breakfast and two (two) coffees.

FO5 fault on washing machine. It's full of clothes and soapy water and not doing what it's meant to do. It's past its best and will need replacing (a bit like the queen). Harry Bosch as well as being a retired detective also it seems makes washing machines. Top of my list of replacements. In other news have sent for a new retro wind up mechanical watch based on a 1960s design. Didn't know you could still get them.

I was going to edit math to words, but both pretty much apply nowadays. I've been trying for 25m to get into the phone queue at the surgery, so that I can have the dubious pleasure of hearing the automated call handling system count me down: "You are in a queue and we will answer your call as soon as we can. You are number 20 in the queue. Please keep holding; your call is important to us." The lines open at 8 a.m and try as I might I am rarely one of the 24-5 people being handled or in the queue... Now all today's appointments are already gone.

The Timesβ history correspondent Jack Blackburn tweeted: βI think itβs possible to read too much into a bit of grouchiness from someone who has been travelling non-stop since his mother died last Thursday.β

He has a large team who perform every menial task for him. Someone to get his clothes ready, someone to actually dress him, a team to cook for him, to take his dishes away, someone to plan his day etc...
Clearly the act of having to sign something, use pen, think of the actual date, is a huge pain in the arse for him. He is also well known for his hissy fits.

Hello. Games. A little of NFS: Heat. It's pish. TV. No. Leaky pens. No. Early to bed. Yes.
Trying to arrange to get to a funeral next week. No, not that one.
It's on Wed at 10am. I have 3 teams calls at 11, 12 and 12.30. so leave the funeral slightly early, I can probably get away with being audio only on the 11am one. walk to a library about 10 mins away and do the others there. Its convincing my manager. It's a Cafflic do and the chances of being over in an hour? *Hmm*

If there is a cremation/burial after you have a latest time for the service to finish as travel time between church and crem plus15 minutes. It's a bit off though to expect you to do a teams call straight after a funeral. I think you could reasonably ask not to be on calls until after lunch.

Also watched some more Rick & Morty, and Newsnight.

The 12pm call is a reschedule account call so kinda need to do that. The 11am one is an hour's seminar thing but my colleague is on it as well so hoping to get out of.
It's someone I used to hang about with/go clubbing with years ago. So yes, he was kind of a big deal. But prob not as far as the church is concerned.

He'd make a bloody good chatterboxer then! I guess that the ink must be royal blue - the days of imperial purple (which only lasted an ignoble couple of centuries). If it was black he could've asked an equerry to turn so he could wipe his back on the mourning suit! Frankly, I found that touch of humanity as normal - I'm more angry at his getting his chief aide to give most of the staff at Highgrove the boot as he was doing this.

Treat this like a gamer; don't rely on 'friendly' co-workers keeping guilty secrets for you.

Sorry about your pal, crank. Good to know that in Carolean Britain you get a day off for a rich stranger's funeral but can't get a couple of hours off for your mate's.

And your manager certainly wouldn't be understanding... Sorry fella, but it would be better to request leave rather than bunk off. If you do the latter you are going to be stressed as fuck the entire time - and the day off would give you the opportunity to go to the wake
