Morning all, Tidying the side quests and collectibles on AC Valhalla. Not the letter catching ones though. Nope. Has anyone played 'Horizon's Gate'? Looks fun but I've not played an rpg with a retro setup before. Looks good. I've got a bugged quest on my Valhalla save that I can't complete, the one where you have to get a woman in labour to a hilltop temple so she can park her sprog. There's nowhere I can take her/drop her that advances the quest, tried it so many times, it's infuriating. That baby's been wedged in for well over 12 months now, poor woman must be in a lot of discomfort I did most of the letter grabbing/Park our challenges as they came along, my personal bugbear was the stone balancing. Infuriating with a console controller. That one bugged for me so I went back to it, the ruins to the east and the topmost part with just a few columns. Once you get off the horse she follows and then cue cutscene. Got armour of the fallen and the gorgon shield. All good.

Morning. I went to watch the Davis Cup yesterday - 9 hours of top tennis action, the only downside being it went on till 1 in the morning and the food and beer stands closed hours earlier. On the plus side, the period of national mourning through which we are all struggling meant that they had cancelled the band scheduled before the start of play, otherwise I'd probably still be there. During GSTK most people remembered to sing 'king', but still sang 'her' instead of 'him'. I guess gender means nothing to these goddam royalist woke brigaders. They did this the singing 'her' at the football last night. I could have lived without the added 'No Surrender' shout as well. Tbh I thought it was a nice tribute by R*****s to only lose 3-0 instead of the usual 4-0.

Football It was good to be back. Been a long time. Been a long time since we won at WBA as well. August Bank Holiday 2005.
I enjoyed it last night, a lot. I was near the back, among the boys who celebrate over enthusiastically. I am pretty sure pitching over seats when we score must be painful. Maybe not when you are coked up. It was a raucous local derby. Didn't finish until 10.16pm and we were stuck in the ground for at least 15 minutes afterwards. Not held by police, celebrating. It is not often we win away from home. And we have a generally poor record at WBA.
I have a slightly sore throat today. Not as bad as when we beat V**** in 2002. I could barely talk for days afterwards

Richmond sausages are the wurst.
Mine were Tesco standard pork sausages. Nothing fancy, but thankfully not Richmond.

My partner has been getting Richmond meatless sausages. She says they tasty just like normal Richmonds. To which I replied, “well they don’t have any meat in them either.”

Brilliant! I recognise where all those places are... The Bobby on the embankment by Lambeth Palace looks remarkably like Jack Warner in Dixon of Dock Green! Which, in itself, was a record of London's post-WWII history... us kids weren't allowed to watch it until we were in our teens, although we lived in grim places like the ones depicted until I was 7y old. This review of the box set from the Graun in 2012 will give you a clue why... (I'm posting so much because Mr Tesco is going to be 95m late due to traffic and I might as well post stuff whilst waiting for the door bell!) //later: just arrived

I tried everything, including uninstalling and re-installing the game, to no good effect. Followed walk throughs on YouTube, no luck. It's not installed at the moment but I will revisit it at some point no doubt

Lunch was a full English with an old friend at a bistro pub down the road. I ordered it with an extra fried egg and a pint of Brewdog Punk IPA. All components of the meal were delicious, but together they've absolutely killed my motivation to tidy the garage

I like Richmond vegetarian sausages. They are like the meat ones, but with a higher pig content.
