I've had a dry shave, it's been over two weeks now. Put *that* on the spreadsheet. I had a dry shave and a wet shave yesterday. Beat that. I ran the clippers through my hair as it was getting messy (ish. I like my hair short). I had a week old beard so trimmed it with the clippers and then had a proper shave. The blade was an old one though. |

Terrry was all whacked out after his journey through mournhub yesterday. Pictures of the queen erected outside station WH Smith’s, members of her majesty’s police looking sullen buying one last coffee in Starbucks before they are exiled and replaced by her king’s police.
I travelled by tube so may actually have been directly underneath the dead queen at one point. I means it’s unlikely but it’s possible. Makes you think.

What.a.bastard.day... Amongst other charming delights I need a larger bin. Those with long memories may recall back in '16/'17, some charmer stole my large bin and I had this replaced... My legs weren't being dressed so often by then so I didn't kick up a fuss as the medical waste was down by about 45%... I've now picked up a problem that is taking an age to even get a diagnosis. The coping mechanism the nurses have saddled me with creates double the medical waste that I normally have... so I need a larger bin again... I spent the afternoon fighting the council's website. After bouncing around it and mapping the intentional dead ends, I realized that the section I wanted wasn't there. Anywhere. There is a page which asks you to select the bin type you need replacing that only has recycling, but is missing food waste, refuse and garden waste bin icons. Another 10m being directed to the delegated local council which, confusingly, still deals with phone calls. I finally got the obstructive cow at the other end to admit that they have got a hole in the website. After denying I could have one she only climbed off her arse once I'd pointed her to the policy section relating to this; then, and only then, after 30m of arguing the toss, did she reveal that I'd been misdirected to the wrong contact number and that she was in the S of the fucking county! AND that the County Council deals with this. I restrained myself from going full Victor; it's always counter productive... By contrast the woman answering me in the Council's Refuse Department was wonderful. She couldn't have been better or more efficient - I still don't have a large bin (that should be resolved on Tuesday), because the error that I found was mirrored in the back office system. I'm materially not much better off, but cheered me up enormously! |

It's not even open casket is it? It's a large box and basically anything could be in it. The actual body was immediately sent to a deep underground lab to be cryogenically frozen.

A rather kind friend met me when I left work. I now have three bags of Tango flavour chews. Intending to get quite Tango'd this long weekend.
It's what Harry would have wanted.
I've also got some homemade lamb curry at home made by the PM's mum. Popping into Sainsbury's for naan bread and beer. Boom!
