Bought a bigger air fryer last week that has a rotisserie spit - so today's lunch was the shredded meat from 2 drumsticks and a thigh, with a load of home made coleslaw, some chilli sauce, and some taco shells left over from the other day. Properly delicious. We'll be eating a lot more chicken going forwards, this machine is really excellent. Haven't used the main oven for a over a week.
Playing a bit of portal 2 today, which popped up as the (last ever) xbox 360 title, on 'games with gold' through gamepass. Nice to play it upscaled and at 60fps and all
Got up to date on the welcome to Wrexham series on Disney+ last night, Reynolds and McElhenny seem like decent coves with the best interests of the club at heart, but it's getting a bit same-y. Four Stars.

Just walked for hour and half mainly along the riverbank, very pleasant, now having a pub lunch.
Train back if course.

I can confidently say that I would never have got that without having noted everybody's complaints about what a shit non-word it was. And I'm in 100% agreement.

Mostly I have been listening to the new Suede album - Autofiction.
I also bought concert tickets to the Symphony Hall and Rock City gigs next March.

Mostly I have been listening to the new Suede album - Autofiction. I also bought concert tickets to the Symphony Hall and Rock City gigs next March. I have tickets for Sheffield in March. Altough my last two attempts to see live music have resulted in cancelled gigs. Is the new album any good? Lots of "oh oh" and references to gasoline?

I'm just going to go ahead and assume "resulted in" means "caused", rather than merely "ended with".

The NME gave it four stars. Make of that what you will. The review used the word "Punk" in its headline. It popped up on my phone. I've not read the NME since about 2001

The NME reviewed my comment? Sweet. Unfortunately it was a guest review spot by Julie Burchill & Tony Parsons. Hence it getting four stars.

If I can convince my body to not rebel and hold off on the bloody awful pain in my foot - apparently where the podiatrist hacked away at the corn on the sole of my left foot, the actual corn is a centimetre in diameter and the "blood red inflamed area" surrounds it from one side of my foot to the other and from the base of my toes to halfway along the foot. Lunch: Fish pie - surprise! Frack off, you opportunistic, preternaturally stupid, Tory glove puppet. (Rees-Hogg, I'm sure, is the puppet master)

Well I am probably not the most objective judge. It sounds like Suede, playing mostly faster songs with the guitars turned up. Is that a good thing? Yes.
I have seen Suede twice since lockdown. In Brum and in Manchester. I also saw Nadine Shah twice. She's ok.
I am also seeing a short show in Nottingham on Tuesday.
I am intrigued that they are playing the Symphony Hall in Brum rather than O2 Academy or The Institute. The Symphony Hall isn't very rock 'n' roll. For a start off it is all seated. I did see Suede at the Royal Albert Hall a few years ago. They had a string section then. Maybe they could repeat that Rock City is more a sweaty dive.

I think Anthony Eden was worse as a p.m. than Johnson.
Eden Lasted less than two years Spent months of that out of the UK Spent mist of his time high on speed Confused Nasser with Hitler. Cionspired with France and Israel to start undoubtedly illegal war on Egypt Crashed the £ Lost war (partly due to financial crisis) and British troops had to retreat hastily. Lied about it all repeatedly both inside and outside parliament
