Lentil and bacon (use the hairy bikers recipe, but double the bacon)
Good Jewish style clear chicken soup with noodles and matzah. Oi!
A good minestrone should really be in my top 5, but Oxtail's made a late resurgence into the charts and there's no way any of the others are giving way
