Kids wore hat and gloves on the walk to nursery/school this morning. There's talk of switching the duvet to the winter one this weekend.
I have successfully halted the switching on off the central heating this far.

Morning all! 18.5 degrees on the ground floor this morning. I even had to put my pyjama bottoms on last night. TVblog: Bake Off followed by Rick & Morty. Amigablog: it’s been a while. Summer holidays, time constraints, and hardware issues have put a real kibosh on the YouTube channel. But with the boy back at school, and a new monitor switch on the way, I should start to be able to get some new sweet content done… My programming brain has also been twitching. Keen to get back on the coding-horse. |

Doing a ton of chores today (and wow; just had Amazon notify me that my new cordless phones will be delivered in the next 90 minutes; after years of being late afternoon or early evening, they have made my area the first drop!) so I will not be able to spend hours dredging the scummy marshy bottoms (eewww) of t'internet. Lunchblog: home made vegetable soup, bread roll. Boodiful. Warmed the cockles.
OTTM, booked a week's holiday at God's Own Gold* Coast, last week of October (half term), in a caravan. Sure it'll be sweltering.
