Ah, a classic header if ever there was one.
Many are the legends of Tids and Kane and their great conflicts.
The stare - the look - it's in the eyes, hardened over many years Mr. Tids baring down with an almighty glare, Kane running off to lurk and jumping out occasionally to glare loudly at Tids, deafening a normal person - but not Tids, as he stands tall and takes it like chimp/champ.
Tales of old that fade into legend.

Morning all!
The Dakyl protocol is in tatters. Went in the simply food (M&S) to buy breakfast, but forgot to buy lunch. Then went to Starbucks, but eyeing the size of the mob waiting for their drinks made the tactical decision - abort bucks, go manger. PAM (Pret a manger) also provides the opportunity to get lunch, but their drinks system is a mess. It's basically a free for all. I grabbed a lunch, but no time to engage in unarmed combat with my fellow londonites to claim my drink from the frothing gaggle of drink hungry commuters.
And so I sit, entrained, coffeeless. Crank would be spinning in his grave.

Hello.
We have a new dishwasher coming on Sat.
On Monday we have a plumber installing it and also fitting a combi boiler.
The latter will involve running a new pipe from the gas meter as the pipes we have ATM are too narrow.
This also involves drilling a hole in the exterior wall into our bedroom as the boiler is in a cupboard in our room. This gives me the fucking fear tbh but we have no choice. It's all going to go tits up and I'm the one WFH on Monday.
Houses and cars, fucking money pits.

The whole pret-a-manger drinks subscription thing has made pret in GLC very busy from 7.50 to 8.20.
it's quite annoying and I often wouldn't get served in time. They need more staff in that period. Might stop folk I've seen walking out the queue with sandwiches/wraps right out the door.
Take a metro. Join end of queue with wrap. Place wrap inside metro. Walk out door. Profit!
