Scientists have grown some brain cells in a lab and taught it to play Pong. They called it DishBrain (in Neuron) They are now planning to grow more and teach it to play Elite:Dangerous. It's provisional name is KaneBrain. |

Morning all!
I’m in the office! I’d rather be at home! Oh well.
I never have a good night’s sleep before an office day. I think my brain keeps thinking about the earlier alarm that goes off. And so I am not as with it as I’d like to be.
TVblog: Ghosts (s4e4). My partner then watched some of Gardener’s World, then I watched half of the Seinfeld finalé.
Filmblog: we did not watch any more of Dune.
Dinnerblog: cooked a salmon teriyaki noodle recipe from the Wagamama’s cookbook. The soup had a nice rich umami to it. 4*Would eat again.

A bit more KoA:RR last night. I'm now a level 3 Brawler 💪. Still got too little inventory space and too much loot. Sticking mainly to the side missions at the moment til I get more BUFF. Good fun. I have read a certain mission will get me a house to help store all my SWEET LOOT,so will try and do that soon.

Death spaniels.

There are big packs of them around Brighton in particular.

There was an interesting article recently on R4 about the aspects of French and Gaelic counting that are based on a vigesimal system. I can't remember what program, but I do remember listening to it and thinking, those oafs on the chatterbox probably mock this sort of counting system, without appreciating the rich linguistic and cultural context and mathematical appeal of such a system.
Pretty sure Death Spaniel and the Wokanauts are Hum's favourite band.
