I played some co-op Sniper last night with a French dude, he really hated the Germans. He was difficult to keep up with. I'd arrive in a room 10 seconds after him and there'd be a least 8 Krauts already dead on the floor. Un monstre terrible.

OTTM: I think my colon's fucked again.
You forgot to lock front door last night? Malheureux!

Morning owlmakers!
I'm currently on the job, WFB. Its bloody freezing hence the retreat to the warmth of the B.
Been on and off the trains like a commuter getting on and off trains this week. Hectic. Also had a webinar that went south. I'd even had a taste of Monster before hand to get warmed up, but everything went pears up. I'll not give details.
Get quotes, check with your local trading standards guys that the folk who are quoting are genuine. NEVER, NEVER give them 'money for materials' at any point unless they are first delivered to you AND you alone have secure access to them.
When I sold my share of a grade II listed building and moved out, three years after my old co-owners had to get this monstrous roof (3 roof ridges, 4 gables) re-roofed because all the latts (or "'laths', the thin strip of wood on which roof slates or tiles were secured, or a base for plaster on walls and ceilings.") were rotting... Price was agreed (much higher than a normal roof because any external repairs have to be done with the same materials) and he started work taking ca. 60% of the tiles off, but breaking most of them in the process. He then told them he now needed £60k of the £100k retention to complete the job.
And they gave him the dosh. He promptly moved all the money into cash and disappeared... £60k in 1997 was enough to buy a house... They were five years with scaffolding and plastic sheeting before they could get enough cash together to get the roof finally replaced...
