Either I’ve had a fight with a fire engine, or it’s raining it’s arse off out there. I was politely asked if I could take the boy to school this morning. It’s not so much a request as a “you’re doing it”. Despite me driving to the vicinity of the school, I’m still soaked through.
TVblog: Sharpe! His Revenge, specifically.
Warhermitblog: got a game of W’hammer 40k tomorrow evening, so I’ll be getting everything in order today. Very exciting time. We’ve instigated an “all units must be painted and based” rule, which means no primed or half-painted miniatures on the table. A far cry from how our games were twenty-odd years ago!
Morning cupcakes. Loaded with the 'worst cold ever to infect mankind'™. *Sniff*
Tbf, I've had worse.
I've just ordered more masks as I'm supposed to be in work on Wed/Thur and just in case the sneezing slash small cough hasn't gone by then. Folk with colds are *really* popular on busy train carriages.
Off work today as it's the school Oct week. Trying to persuade the child to play a game later that isn't F'n Roblox.
Baby when is your new graphics card arriving?
Apparently I've needed a hearing aid longer than I realised.
Car is in for the annual MOTtage, so I’m on tender hooks. Almost missed the binmen…..I guess they’re used to dishevelled wrecks in slippers dragging the fortnightly offerings towards them now and again.

Morning all.
Crank - in a couple of hours.
I am watching all the Italia 90 matches in order while I work. Currently 6 minutes into Argentina Vs Cameroon. I think Argentina would fare better with Maradona playing a little deeper and with Cannigia on the pitch.
Went to bed fine. Woke up in agony. Sort of right at the top of my butt/bottom of the back. Feels more butt than back. Agony. Can anyone give me a lift to Clifton?
... doing chorez; until you hear otherwise, the pain continues to be a right bastard. I was told that I need to have a particular type of dressing for the severely bruised and damaged heel. On Friday the sanguine effluvia rather underlined the need for them. This means another call to the surgery - I'm currently #10 in the queue...
This instrument is giving the two double basses the fear!
