Morning all.
Office day. I managed to get out of the house five mins early!
And then there were police cars in the A27!
And then the traffic on the exit stopped dead!
So actually arrived at the office bang on time, thanks to a swift detour.
TVblog: The X Files, “Dreamland” parts one and two. A very entertaining brace of episodes.
I then finished Sharpe’s Revenge.
Warhermitblog: today’s the day! 1500pt game of Warhammer 40k 2nd edition. 2 vs 2, with my Ultramarines and a mate’s custom-chapter fighting against my brother’s Orks and a friend’s Tyranids.
I am tremendously excited.

The Office 365 roll out in my work is the gift that keeps on giving. Folk not wanting to use their own phones for 2FA so can't get logged in etc.
IT being their usual helpful selves.
Folk who share all the info in the world on Facebook but are worried about using their mobile number or installing an app due to privacy issues.

Good things: Last bit of work this morning before 10 days off. Few reports to do but that's very much tomorrow's problem.
Massive pizza from the Asda pizza counter with ALL the meat to look forward to for lunch.
New prescription sunglasses arrived today and I look cool as fuck, like a a young Jim Reid (who's gotten old)
Bad things: Daughter off school with a vomiting bug. Super paranoid that we're going to catch it and not be able to go to Greece on Thursday, so I've confined her to her bedroom and nailed the door shut.
My dad hurt his ankle yesterday, and can't drive & can barely hobble - so I have to go with my mum tonight while she has her much loved, creaking old dog Ollie put down. She's in bits already, and there's 6 more hours to go. Glad I can help out & hold her hand obv but it's grim to contemplate.
So a mixed bag today all told, but I'm definitely looking forward to that pizza

Still in agony. It's worse when I'm sat down. As this is a favourite hobby of mine, it is troubling. Did some googling, best I can find which looks like what I'm feeling is a sciatic nerve problem. Maybe I should consult Dr Shenguin?
Going on holiday next Monday and will be doing a fair amount of driving, so this is a worry.
Maybe it's more humane just to fly to Zurich.
OTTM, PM is making chilli for tonight. No chick peas.
