My Gamepass runs out today, I don't think I'll be renewing it for a while. Might have to go outside at some point and engage with real life. *shudders* Hopefully the Fiends & Fam Gamepass kicks in here soon and we can grab that. Five folk for €22 in Ireland. |

My dad hurt his ankle yesterday, and can't drive & can barely hobble - so I have to go with my mum tonight while she has her much loved, creaking old dog Ollie put down. She's in bits already, and there's 6 more hours to go. Glad I can help out & hold her hand obv but it's grim to contemplate. Really sorry to hear that - I'm in a shedload of pain atm, but having to put an old friend to bed hurts so much more; even vicariously. I've buried two cats and a cantankerous old budgie and it never comes easy. There is sorrow enough in the natural way

Hallooo Still in agony. It's worse when I'm sat down. As this is a favourite hobby of mine, it is troubling. Did some googling, best I can find which looks like what I'm feeling is a sciatic nerve problem. Maybe I should consult Dr Shenguin? Going on holiday next Monday and will be doing a fair amount of driving, so this is a worry. Maybe it's more humane just to fly to Zurich. OTTM, PM is making chilli for tonight. No chick peas. Dr Shenguin: "Here's 2 paracetamol; do you want fries with that?" |

Morning all!
We've got workmen (man) in today. I've been up early to clean the kitchen and am now hiding in my office.
Completely moribund at the moment, due to having to go into work three days out of five last week. This week I have to go in on Sunday.
TV - no
Games - Ofert watch 2. It's rather good, if that. Looking forewords to Persona and Gotham nights later this week. I didn't realise Crank was in Ireland. Must be why he has such trouble getting the train to Glasgow.
I've been seeing strange things out of the corner of my eyes. Little blobs that fly away when I turn to look at them. Glitches in the matrix? Ghosts in the machine? Perhaps a metaphor for...

I've been using cheap Turkish gamepass off ebay - it's less than a third the price. You need to have a vpn on your phone, set location to Turkey, activate the gamepass code on the xbox app, and then it just works on your console, even after you disconnect from the VPN. Can't help feeling its another loophole that will be stamped out soon, this Friends and Family deal can't arrive quick enough |
