I bought some new wires this week. I now have 20m of speaker wire bought from the wreckage of Maplin. There is a vague possibility I might even replace the very cheap speaker wire I currently use one day in the distant future.

Lunch: homemade smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches. I even bought in a wedge of lemon in a little tub to squeeze on just before consumption.
I'm kind of a big deal.

PS4 headphones. The official Sony PS4 headphones are £20. And for that price they are good value. Mine have lasted since the launch day.

Lunch: Two croissants as there is very little else in the house to eat.

I saw that. Disappointed that the comments are already closed. I had valuable input to add! Good work by Sheep2 on there.

Lunch review.
After one joint of an indica strain weed I brought in on the rolling stones tour called desperate times I decided to make lunch. Leftover smoked salmon pate in warm pitta with dressed salad leaves. Reminded me of a meal I had in Morocco in 83 on the run from the CIA.
4 stars.

Welcome back, General Destry. Lunch: toasted cheese Headphones banter: I recently bought new wireless ones because for me the wires break again and again (I use them for listening to music and podcasts pretty much all the time, so they get a lot of wear & tear). I would have really liked to have a pair for gaming, but I found out that the Switch doesn't do Bluetooth because Nintendo. The only option in docked mode is to use certain headsets that connect via USB, but as far as I could see they were all really, really expensive. I didn't even know it was possible to spend £500 on headphones that weren't gold plated. I also had to bear in mind that I wanted them to work with the console on the go, which is easiest done by wired connection. Anyways, I got these www.amazon.co.uk/Wireless-Bluetooth-Foldable-Headphones-Memory-Protein-Rose-Gold/dp/B0775XQ1VC/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref=yo_pop_d_yo_pop_d_pd_t2 ones in the end and they are great. Check out the review from the woman who said she got them for her husband and he's really happy with them. Glad to hear that some people are fighting the gendered colour coding one pair of pink headphones at a time.

A royal with a French name is a proper conundrum for Amipal.

A royal with a French name is a proper conundrum for Amipal. The French throne has been vacant for some time. Maybe they are planning a takeover?

A royal with a French name is a proper conundrum for Amipal. Look, I had no role in the assassination of Lord Mountbatten. That was three years before I was born.

There is a vague possibility I might even replace the very cheap speaker wire I currently use one day in the distant future. If that's for a surround system, the upgrade comes highly recommended. I changed mine when I moved house mainly for cosmetic reasons, ironically. The difference was night and day. The new thicker wire made me realise I'd been wasting the kit for years.

I've only got very cheap speakers that are quite old now. The very thin wire connecting them s pretty grotty The one thing that will stop this project dead is my fundamental laziness.
I recently bought a new AV Receiver. The sound mix is quite different. Much more bass even though I'm using the same speakers and had the bass turned up one notch on the old system from neutral.

Mine are just the Jamo A102 5.1 set, nothing fancy in the slightest, but the difference was still clear.
Saying that, the cable I originally had was really thin, hastily purchased from an electrics shop in Dundee, whereas the new stuff I checked online to match the thickness with the speaker size.
I can see why you wouldn't bother. The fact mine is nice set up strongly deters me from wanting to move house ever again.

I'd have gone for Shark's Doom Bar, Carpsberg, or maybe even the Loch Guinness Monster. I'm not even sure if treble chub is a pun -- is it treble clef?
