Good Friday,
A couple more games of Fortnite. Managed a 5th place finish by hiding in a Hut, then the following game I minigunned someone at point blank range, only for them to patiently wait for me to run out of ammo before shooting me in the face.

Morning.
A nearby water leak during the night meant that we only getting a trickle of water. Fortunately fixed before anyone was attempting to have a shower.
I finally found the elusive Steed Stone in Skyrim (was approaching it from the wrong side), visited scenic Dragon Bridge, and, in an act of treason against BDT, promised a woman that I would find her husband's secret booze. Then I talked to the chap himself and immediately regretted getting involved. I found a couple of murdered carpet merchants and a nice campsite that might or might not have belonged to the carpet merchants. Finally I met another drug dealer. They really are living on the edge, aren't they? Why are they always attacking when one mentions that drug dealing is, duh, like, against the law?

Don't bother picking up the minigun Faceless, it's only useful for destroying forts at the end (and even then I don't think I would bother). |

What can I say? It's lovely! Even just running around (sorry, sneaking around; we do want to level up) and finding stuff is great... I've got all the DLC built in, but I haven't even scratched the surface. |

Glad you're loving it Ten. The DLC is massive, just be sure to keep checking you're not developing vampirism as you end up fighting a fair amount of them. The housebuilding is a brilliant timesink.

We didn't really get anywhere with the headphone chat the other day.
Stereo headphones, with a mic, for use on PS4. Is that possible? Would they plug into the controller? But the controller sounds aren't the same sounds as the ones that come out of my amp, even when I plug phones into the controller. Would they be wireless? Would they talk directly to the PS4 or via my amp? But my amp can't listen to a mic.
It's all very confusing. Help a brother out. Also cheap. Cheap is good.

You should be able to use your existing 'phones if they plug in to the controller. You need to check the audio settings once you have done this. You can have all the audio through your phones I think or just speech. There should be a mic on your phones. Most have them these days. Building on the advice I received on this subject here (none, but given the general standard of opinions that's probably a bonus) I ordered the above. Reviews seemed reasonable, and cheap compared to most of what I found. Not arrived yet, but looks like they plug into the controller - presumably they get the sounds from the Ps4 via blutooth? I am mainly worried they will not fit comfortably round my massive cranium. |

I don't own any gaming headphones.
Not even the black wire that came with the PS4.
I do occasionally get people talking out of the speakers.
I think the came out of the surround speakers. So appeared to be crouched in the corner behind me.
Which the first time I heard it was distinctly offputting.
If anyone knows what happened to the black wire that came with the PS4 would you let me know.

I use the same headphones as Rolling for the Xbox, albeit in a fetching white and green colour. Only used them so far for listening though, not tried speaking to anyone through them.

Thanks, sounds like something even I will not be able to get wrong. I am sure Amazon are deliberately delaying deliveries these days to make you get Prime. My wife has Prime, but I didn;t want to use her login in case she spotted my shameful purchase.
I never even got a black audio wire with my PS4. I wonder if it's too late to take it back to the shop?

I haven't posted in a while but thought I'd weigh in on headphone chat.
I have a pair of Turtle Beach P12 Headphones specifically for the PS4 and they plug into the Playstation via usb. I've had them for around 3 or 4 years and still going strong. The mic and surround sound are great for the price.

I'd always assumed some headphones came with the PS4; I guess not though. I could have done with some last night, tried playing squads my wife kept asking why French people were shouting at me through the tv. I did point out they weren't necessarily French, and could have been from another French-speaking country, but that didn't really address the issue.
Babyfark - cheers for the tip, although not picking up a minigun goes against all my child of the 80's instincts

I'd do it myself, but that tangle is difficult to get in to and even trickier to get out of. There are also a couple of drawers full of miscellaneous wire which I might one day need.
