This was new data to me, as last thing I’d been told was that my partner was going into town on her own.
Suffice it to say that I was definitely not in the mood for the public.

I've been into Manchester today, for a swanky meal at a super posh restaurant for a family friends birthday (excellent, an easy four stars) and an afternoon shopping round the Christmas markets - a literal fucking nightmare for me. Barely half way through November and it was shoulder to shoulder drunken aggro pricks from one side of the city to another. I'm not big on crowds at the best of times but it was genuinely awful today. A lack of organised queues, easily accessible but expensive gluhweins and a long wait for the bogs seems to bring out the worst in folks round here |
