Qatar were bloody awful, you don't get shite teams like that in the Euros (apart from Albania and NI).
Ecuador could go far though, they probably regret not going harder for 3 or 4. The BBC commentary were fucking abysmal, seems to get steadily worse each tournament.

hi I had an ok weekend, so far. I have had an ok weekend. I feel a bit maudlin. I feel a bit pensive. My dad came to visit and, to be honest, I’m not sure he and the pm see eye to eye. I don’t feel an over-abundance of cordiality between them. And they both say things that I know the other would disagree with. Also I just saw my dad onto a train. And I’m not convinced his ticket is valid. It was a rush into a train scenario when we should have just waited for the next one and gone for a drink. hmm Oof. This rings a lot of bells with me... My wife happens to be your normal everyday guardian reading liberal prick like me, but my dad is enough of a 'political correctness gone mad innit', anti-woke, 50's loudmouth Daily Express-reading knobhead that family meetings are often very awkward. Not aggressive or confrontational, just a bit unpleasant (That said, her dad is at least 200% as much of a cunt, but we rarely see him) Chin up, bones, I feel your awks. |

Where people have diametrically opposed views there are only 3 options.
1) smooth it over hush it up, never speak of it again. But let it fester for decades.
2) A blazing drunken row. Get it all out in the open. Hug out the differences.
3)Hush it up let the resentment simmer. Then hold spectacular drunken row.
I have heard you can just agree to differ, but i can't see how that would work. You have to create some enormous emotional conflict that damages everyone.

Spigen GLAStR EZFIT Tempered Glass screen protectors. Easy as fuxk to attach with out any bubbles. Actual or metaphorically Downside: Bit pricey, and loads of plastic left over. They should sell refills.

I’m going to go to bed and read a book on the history of the German language. It’s pretty dry looking. Hopefully not so dry I can’t get beyond the first few pages. Some light dryness to lull me into slumber would be good.
