Watched Oil City Confidential again, really good. 4* Apparently the Ramones opened for them in NYC.

I went to sleep at about 23.00 and felt as if I was having the sleep of the just. Then I woke up and it was 00.40.
As I was lying in bed I kept hearing this tapping, rustling sound from the bedroom door - half like there was a cat trying to get in, half like the door rattling slightly because of a draught. Nothing there. I opened the door to make sure it wouldn’t rattle. It happened again and there was nothing there. A bit later I heard this shuffling by the bed. I turned the light on. Was it a half open book I’d put down?
I swear I was awake most of the night. Whenever I got close to sleep I’d hear something - like the door, or a scratching at the window, or a rattling, shuffling out in the street.
This morning I feel dizzy and not with it.
Ah man.

There’s some good advice on the internet:
‘Probably a spirit or a demon. In any case yell “in the name of Jesus Christ I bind and rebuke you and I command you to get out of my house right now in Jesus name! You have no authority here. Go back to the pit of hell where you belong.” Then stay close to God. Whenever you’re in trouble call on Jesus. Also call on the archangel Michael. “Michael archangel defend me in battle!”.

That won't work on the Babadook

Doesn’t the babadook just turn out to be a metaphor for grief or something like that?

I had this experience in a shared house I lived in in the 90s - woken up by a scrabbling sound every night for a week. At first I thought it was something going wrong in my brain or something, but it turned out to be only a rat infestation. Phew!

Pretty sure the Babadook turned out to be a metaphor for a monster that came out of a book and terrorised people into fear and dread.

This is what you get for upsetting colleagues holiday plans. She's obviously got a fetish doll of you and collected some hair or dandruff from your desk and has set a demon onto you. It's now tying to gain entry to your aura. There will not be a good outcome from this.

Lazy is having an LSD flashback. Calling it now
Hello. No TV, no games.
Mucked about in Beatmaker 3 on an iPad. Like a young Ye - but without the anti-Semitism & mental health issues.
You can't seem to cut and paste midi notes from the piano roll which seems an oversight and something I'm used to in desktop DAWs. But I might just be being daft.
Child back to school today thank Yeezus.

I have booked a slot in a town centre pub for 4.15 on Saturday, I hope we don't have to be there then though. Standing room only.
We're reaching the heart of the madness here. Peak World Cup.

Morning all!
I’m in the office today, to definitely see people. And not at all for the free-charge, no sirree.
TVblog: first series of Red Dwarf.
Oldboxblog: timthemonkey is good to talk to in real life. But his online persona is a tad worrying - though he grapples with those on the right in order to dispel untruths, and also comments on lots of younger ladies’ tweets.
Warhermitblog: having a bit of a break from the painting, and have moved over to a building stage instead. Resin-dust is fine in human lungs, isn’t it?
