I went to a friend’s house after work yesterday. It takes a long time to get there so I’d gone into work early in order to be able to leave early. Then a 30 minute catch-up meeting turned into a three hour one. It’s all to do with a desk-move. I’m trying to accommodate people as well as I can, under very difficult circumstances.
Well I went to my friends house and got there late. We drank some alcoholic drinks and consumed a soft drug. My conversation took a hit after that. Then we watched ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’, which I’d never seen before. It’s ok. Much better when Danny Devito gets in it.
I’ve still taken a hit. On the conversation. I see that now.
When I got home I had a slap-up feed of nachos with melted cheese, sour cream, chilli, tomatoes and coriander. Boodiful.
I’m sorry. Dead-eyed, monotonal chat.

Internet switch day! Had a text from Sky saying everything’s ready and I just need to set up the router.
The router hasn’t arrived yet, as they sent it through Royal Mail in the middle of well publicised strikes.
Due to arrive today. Allegedly.

Morning all Internet switch day! Had a text from Sky saying everything’s ready and I just need to set up the router. The router hasn’t arrived yet, as they sent it through Royal Mail in the middle of well publicised strikes. Due to arrive today. Allegedly. I switched to sky broadband recently. I had no problems with it Oh, no hang on. There were problems. All the problems I'm sure you'll be fine though |

I went out and did some 'sports' last night, then I came home and watched a couple of episodes of the 'White Lotus' s2 while drinking some alcohol. I am not sure about the White Lotus. I did enjoy the first series, but I am *this* close to deciding that maybe it's actually not all that clever or funny. The Guardian's eulogising isn't helping. Tom Hollander is pretty amusing, mind you.
I also posted all the Christmas cards I am sending this year (2).

Icy as fuck out.
Really slippy. Walking the child to school wasn't much fun. Never went for a coffee on the way home as it's up a steep hill. Went to the grit bin instead. Notes of cat pish and twix wrapper.
My sister informs me they've got loads of snow doon then road. Raining here which I hope doesn't turn to snow.
Soft drugs eh? Marvellous. Or so I've heard. Talking of drugs - fucking Asda have replaced a four pack of punk with a four pack of alcohol free beer. Stupid bastards.
