Grant Shapps is on BBC1 explaining how to keep your energy bills down. Apparently, turning your boiler down is the top tip. You heard it here first!

Also, if you use a pseudonym, make money in an unscrupulous way, and lie about it, denying you've done that, and then also receive cash from firms linked to your portfolio, that can help bring in a little extra on top of the £84k of public money you earn as an MP (and more if you later become a minister) to help pay those tricky bills.
I have lots of free time to look at politics at the moment, as I'm not going to do any of my homework until the end of the holidays.

It's a big bold claim that you are going to do any of your homework, let alone all of it.

Morning Moomins
Went for a long walk in the rain earlier and picked up some lamb from the butchers. Said lamb is now in a pot simmering away for lamb curry.
Younglings broke for the school holidays yesterday. Eldest is in bed with a temperature of 102° and the youngest is on the settee with a blanket and a headache. Paracetamol has been deployed. MERRY CHRISTMAS, HO. HO HO!
I'm shortly going to deploy my own medicine (filth) and open some booze.
OTTM, had 2 (TWO) mince (oooh mince) pies earlier.

I did not expose myself in Tesco. INDECENT EXPOSURE PAUL ANTHONY SCUBAR, aged 46 of Dodgy Street, Millbridge: Intentionally exposed genitals at Tesco, Lee Mill. Stole goods worth £36.80 from Tesco, Lee Mill.
So, you got your appendage out and then nicked £36 quids worth of stuff thinking people wouldn't notice you? Amateur hour. How would a professional like yourself do it?

3d place game: Croatia deserved the win. IMO. Morocco played throughout the tournament with speed, style and a casual thuggery that came close to some lethal stuff on occasion. In terms of yellow and red cards they bore a charmed life. In attack they were fast, fluid and effective; but the Moroccan guy who really impressed me, was their manager.

Watching the cricket higights. Young Rehan Ahmed looks a bit tasty. We might finally have a successor to Phil 'The cat' Tuffers spinning throne.

Wrapping the Xmas presents as my sister and fam are over tomorrow. Genuinely thought I'd left a bag of shopping on the bus, then remembered I'd put it on top of the wardrobe. Thank fuck.
The pm & child are watching the dancing.

Babyfark
A spicy lamb rogan
Marinade: yogurt, stewing lamb, grated garlic, grated ginger, salt, lemon juice
bay, cardamom pods, cumin seeds, heated in oil.
Couple of onions chopped into the flavoured oil.
Powdered spices (I use East end), cumin, chilli, coriander, garam.
Chuck in the marinade for 10 mins on high.
Two tbsp Tom puree, tin of toms, pint of water, tsp sugar, tsp salt.
Simmer 1.5 - 2 hrs
6-8 potatoes peeled and halved, drop in for last 40 - 45 or less so they don't break up.
Scoff with breads of choice.
Boodiful.
