The mini oven has been drafted into service. Mrs T has been grilled* apropos the main one, 'It's been playing up since ELECTRICAL SAFETY MAN poked around with it.'.

Sounds like he fff'd the main fuse up, my neighbour had the same problem. I'm alive just about, my breathing is screwed and I had no/some sleep every couple of hours. I can't eat at the moment and I have a fridge full of food, heady days. |

Managed to get an electrician out yesterday to look at our oven and confirm it was fucked. While he was here I offered him a coffee and discovered that after 10 years of zero problems the coffee machine is also fucked. My life is basically a particularly unamusing episode of a terrible 70s sitcom.

Merry Christmas everyone !
Just had our starter. Prawn Cocktail (with added smoked salmon for the sickos). Turkey resting, everything else in the oven or steamer. My timings are so far so good. In about 30 minutes I'm going to consume my own body weight in stuffing and pigs-in-blankets.

By tradition you would eat from 12:30-1pm onward and desert also, then the Queens/Kings speech at 3pm, prezzie opening then biscuits and cheese with fresh coffee or leaf tea and a movie (Mary Poppins or similar) then sleep for an hour or so then clear up and prep for boxing day. |

If you don't move much, it's vital to maintain a reasonable weight as a diabetic. I hate it, but I hate dying more. |
